life is beautiful... is it?

This song... well the lyrics says it all..

before the world began
you were on His mind
and every tear you cry
is precious in His eyes
because of His great love
He gave His only Son

everything was done
so you would come

nothing you can do
could make Him love you more
and nothing that you've done
could make Him close the door

because of His great love
He gave His only son
everything was done
so you would come

come to the Father
though your gift is small
broken hearts, broken lives
He would take them all
the power of the word
the power of His blood
everything was done
so you would come

During yesterday's cell time, we were discussing about worship and all.. How your attidude should be, what kind of heart you present to God when you come into His presence to worship. ('Many many more') Kevin was sharing... about not doing QT (quiet time with God). "Like a pathetic once a week.." at this point, all eyes were on me. Whatever. Yeah then he said, whenever he doesn't feel like doing QT, pastor Benny's words will come echoing in his mind. Now it's in mine. What if, one day, God closes His door, and just dump you? If He shuts you out, how are you supposed to live?

Everytime we are stuck in a difficult situation... the first thing we as Christians do, is to cry out to God and ask for help. [Imagine those who do not know God, they can only turn to family and friends, who might not always be there for them] And He, without fail, will always help us. It says somewhere in the bible... I will never leave you nor forsake you. / Ask and you will receive, seek and you will find, knock and the door will be opened to you. There's so many of these in the bible, so many, we tend to take them for granted. If we reflect on our life... how many times have we turned to God when in need? Were those the only times we talk to Him? How many times did He turn us down? It's ZERO for me.

Then think again... what about when He calls us, gently, softly, for that 1 or 1/2 hr to be spent with Him, how many times have we rejected Him? If we can spend hours on a storybook or on the computer or simply doing nothing, then what about QT? "No time, this week very busy." Ha, ha. If we put QT as priority and trust the Lord to help us with whatever uncompleted work we have, I'm quite sure things will turn out well. Are we the Sunday Christians who act like one when they are in church, and then go back to their usual self from Monday to Saturday? Hypocrites, you say. (Before we open our mouths to judge, first think about ourselves and our actions.) Which links back to the question posted above. What IF, one day, God closes His door and dumps us... what's gonna happen to us? I dare not think about it.

=) That's quite a lot for cell discussion.

About last night...
Everything's fine now, for those wondering what's happening to me. Fine, really.
Thank God for dp-pic-changer, it has damn been hard on him. Quite obvious who this person is, haha. Thanks for your prayers. Horse is talking to me again. I don't understand why he's apologising, I should be the one doing that. Me who created the mess did not tidy it up. He did it for me and I still feel bad about it. Remember that I needed someone to talk to? I didn't even talk much. I just looked at his messages. The reassurance was there. I felt and am still feeling blessed to have (God who sent) this dp-pic-changer to... help me. Thanks a trillion, :))

Life is beautiful after all.
