INSTRUCTORS (AND TEACHERS)! THANK YOU FOR MAKING THIS CAMP SO ENJOYABLE FOR ALL OF US!
(ha, ha, ha, like they would even come here)
2006 SEC 3s ROCK! CAMP ROCK INSTRUCTORS PEBBLES! MISS CHONG STONE!
As you can see, I am feeling high!
Wednesday, 4 April
Came to school early in the morning, with all that luggage, gathered in our classes all over the hall. We wanted to know our groupings for the camp darn badly. Excitement was in the air. The groupings were finally put up and almost everyone rushed to the board. (sounds as if i'm narrating some story) So found out I was in group 4, with Hilary. My mortal! As well as my partner for the camp. This group consists of all the quiet and stone people. One doesn't talk at all, one cries easily.
The instructors came in to the hall, we were like "Wah so young..." I thought they were a bunch of cute weirdos. There was this introduction on stage, and they did a lot of funny things. From this intro, we could actually sense that the camp was going to be a crazy one. My group's instructor was Donovan. HANDSOME GEEK, says Joey. I think he's more on the cute than handsome side lor. Haha.. Had some time with the instructors, to make our flag and come up with some cheers. My group really stoned. No one was even making an attempt to suggest good cheers, interact like other groups... Don's attempt to make us talk and discuss ended up with playing whacko. We used his yucky shirt to hit :D
The small eyes instructor, Timothy led Major Group A in cheers. He's a funny guy.
Bused to MOE Jalan Bahtera. The sight of the high elements made us freak out. Scary. Had our lunch there, freaked out again when we looked up and saw the lizards on the ceiling. Thought it would drop into our plates, haha. The queue for food is always damn long, and you have to eat up anything they give you. No such thing as "I don't want vegetables". Of course la. What d'you expect? You think this is some hotel? Think again.
We were introduced to our other instructor, Lihui. She's very nice!
Lihui led us in the low elements. They were all team-building games, which makes the group more bonded as one. [Miss Chong was the teacher attatched to our group and she followed us around, btw] The toughest ones were the wall climbing and squeezing onto that small square platform. We had to smell each other's body odour, grab on to the sweaty shirts, step on foots, do lots of weird stuff to squeeze the whole group onto that thing. Succeeded :D From this, I learnt that every group member is important, every person counts. Every little bit of space on that thing is precious.
The wall climbing. Step, carry, push, pull.... Teamwork! The leaders, Shi Yun and Glynnis were really great. They take a lot of initiative to do things. And they led the group well. Good job, guys :)
I was a nice person. The rain was pouring and people were stuck at the toilet without umbrellas. Helpful and kind people like me, Joey, En Ling and Joanne went to rescue them. It's nice to see people happy that they can get sheltered to their huts. At least they appreciate it, not like some others Joey mentioned. People happy, you happy, everybody happy, PEACE. LOL!
Dinner brought screams from all over the canteen. Flies and lizards, mosquitos and a cat. Not forgetting a frog during debrief. Whatever, we still managed to eat in peace. Somebody once said that camps fatten you up by giving you a lot of food, haha..
RAIN. Our enemy. Because of RAIN, the night activity was replaced by mascots from the various groups. Most of them were not very nice ones, which kind of made the teachers mad. About the high belt and long skirt, the balloons which were put somewhere... Miss 'Gay'sha! That instructor was so funny. He and Jeremy. Gosh one look at it and you feel like puking and laughing and embarrased at the same time. I didn't know excatly how I felt. Instructors taught us the campfire songs. I like the titanic one. We shall sing it in class.
Group debriefs with instructors. Mine was under Hut 3. Hillary, as usual, screamed when she saw the frog a the grassy area. She never walked on the grass after that. LOL. Didn't write down the reflections thingy, I'm blogging it.
Was a good night, I slept through. It was a little hot at first. Warm. Other huts did not have that spotlight. Ours was on all night, so it attracted little friends. Yes, the flies, hahahas. En Ling couldn't sleep and was counting flies. Now the whole cohort knows she was counting flies. Temperature decreased and it became cold, the PL jacket is so comfortable. Yuhui promised to wake the whole hut up with her loud voice and alarm clock. Haha..
Thursday, 5 April
Woke up looking into Yuhui's face. Didn't even need her alarm clock la. We were supposed to wake up at 6.30am but got up half an hour earlier.
Devotion and singspiration. I love singspiration! :) Followed by yummy breakfast.
And then. Our fears. High elements!!! I wanted to try the walking on the log one, the stable log which was the easiest of all the elements there. No chance to try, too many people wanted that. Next one was the broken bridge, where we had to walk across the shaky planks. Lihui belayed us. Kar Mun fell halfway, and it was damn scary! Lihui almost flew up okay, if not for Hillary as anchorman. (in this case, woman) Then I was going up already and then they said CHANGE STATION. Wah lao I wanted to try that one lor!
So I ended up doing the rock wall aka rock climbing. That was scary. I couldn't climb, my shoe spoilt. Couldn't even get past the red line, only like a few fingers. Shabana did our group proud by touching the top! She's amazing. Glynnis fell as one of the rocks on the wall dropped off.
The challenge pole, Shabana did it again by grabbing the bar! This girl arh, I dunno how come she's so brave and can do so many things. Simply amazed by her character. Yeah and Miss Chong did a demo for us! She was shaking up there, then calmed down by taking deep breaths. I could see her mouth opening and closing :D
Before that, Clara Ying was stuck up there for like 1h 45min. She was paralysed, just sat there and didn't move. The darker-skinned instructor Timothy was there persuading her to get down. He was there with her for a long time too. Wow. When Clara finally jumped, she was crying away and people downstairs cheered to encourage her. So. If you think you're too scared to do something, don't do it because you don't want to lose face or just want to put on a brave front. Well that's wrong. Look at Clara.
Lunch was fantastic! Don's always serving rice :D He will put the rice in En Ling's small compartment in her plate and then the other instructors serving will look at it and show the weird face. Bully En Ling arh! Haha.. Hillary loves the 'fruits guy". Very cute meh? Lol.
Hmm. After lunch it was the zip line aka flying fox. We sat burning in the sun for a long time before getting the chance to fly down. I am officially redder now. Went up the abseiling (?)tower, the stairs was not scary at all, some people take a year to get up! Everything looked frightening from up there. Hillary took quite awhile to take off. Wasn't as scary as I thought. Just moved my legs away and zoom. Fun! Yuhui said it was a great way to relieve stress.
Abseiling. Scary cats like me stayed on the ground. My shoe spoilt hor. How to go down the wall? The left lane took a long time to come down, the instructor there gave them a super long briefing. the right side was much faster. Cheered for friends coming down from that wall.
Then our enemy came again. Stupid rain, took away our chance to go for kayaking!! I wanted to try that. Cumulonimbus clouds and convectional rain always takes away all our fun. So we practiced for the campfire item instead. Don, Lihui and Miss Chong were very engouraging. They also made us shout and scream like nobody's business. Lihui taught major group A the roti prata cheer. Woot, that was nice :)
Dinner, dinner, yum. Hungry. The food tasted better than usual. So much nicer! We wanted to take a group photo at the table but some were missing and our instructors were not there. Oh well.
Campire's burning in the dark dark night. Ooooh yeah! Yippee Yippee yeah!
We had a roaring good time singing songs, cheering, watching performances by every group. Mine screwed up. I totally forgot all the lyrics and actions. Some more standing at the front row. How embarrasing. Acted normal, lip sync, haha. The sea of yellow people freaked me out.
Noticed something. Fraddy always goes "PL OEI" whenever he takes over the mic.
We didn't win, but that's okay. It was the fun we had while preparing and performing the thing out. I actually cried when the instructors did their item for it. Like so touhing! Reality hit me as I realised that it was already the 2nd night, the last night at Jalan Bahtera. Last night fooling aroung with the instructors. Yes it was that saddening.
Debrief with Don and Lihui. They talked about the past two days, how we've growed to be more bonded together as a group (did they say that?) About our objective of the camp on the first day, which was to have fun. We did. They made it sound like a farewell thing, like they were going to die. Just 2 days and I feel that the instructors were so attatched to our group, like glue. I felt like tearing againg and asked Hillary, "can I cry?" Don heard that. Like whoops. Then he said don't cry, be happy, ..... But it's really very sad lor. Those memories... The times we had together as a group...
With Yuhui, Nisa and En Ling around, it was very hard to sleep. They talk about absolutely anything under the half moon and many stars. Anything. It was practically impossible to sleep with them around. Two keeps talking about rubbish and funny things. One keeps laughing non-stop. I didn't even get to do my personal reflection and QT. That night was nice to sleep. We slept without the lights, one of the bulb fused and the whole thing just died. Lights should never be connected in series. Miss Chong, Constance and Lihui came up a few times to check on the lights. Don reported the faluty lights. The day ended with a sleepy and energyless (-.-) atmosphere.
Lets give ourselves an adidas clap.
Today, 7 April
Woke up looking at Yuhui again. Just felt like lying down there, enjoying the last few minutes of lying in the hut. Washed up with Hillary and En Ling then went to pack up our things. Was so messy, the hut. Plastic bags, spoilt shoes, ...
Singspiration and devotion felt sad. Those songs we sang arh, made me want to cry again. Sec 3s were bonded together and sang as one voice. The song One Voice is nice. Mrs Chong, lead in devotion also say all the sad and serious things.
When the instructors took over the mic, they were like looking at out sad and sian faces, haha. "PL oei."
"oei."
"hey oei louder leh, PL OEI!"
"OEI!!"
Instructions were given for area cleaning. My group cleaned up the dirtiest toilet in the campsite. We just stepped in, and looked at the dustbin, "EWWWWWWWWWW!" It was overflowing like anything. Pads, shoes, slippers, panties, fork and spoon, more pads,.... Really gross. Be thankful that you weren't there okay. You'll just puke on the spot. So many people were having menses. We had to clear the overflowing dustbin, like it was totally yucky? Someone left a bra in the shower and I had to clear that. YUCKS YUCKS YUCKS. There were pads sticking at the shower area. PADS WITH BLOOD. PAD IN THE TOILET BOWL> PLASTIC BAG IN THE TOILET BOWL. BRA LEFT THERE. AND THE POOR GROUP 4 PEOPLE HAVE TO CLEAN UP AFTER YOU??! If you are guilty of any of the above, please la, don't ever do that again. It's very hard work for the cleaners. Hair was all over the place. Why do girls drop so much hair? We cleared the darn heavy bags of rubbish and cleaned up the place till it was like some 7-star hotel pls. Try doing that. Lihui said she was proud of us.
Next, everyone was seen walking around with markers, getting instructors to sign on their shirts. I only got a few. Was looking around for Donovan, this guy actually left at night without saying goodbye to our group! So he thinks he's very nice la?! We're his group people lor, never even say a proper bye bye. The debrief the night before also never say he's not going to be with us in the morning. Some of us were pretty upset, hello, we're short of one signature. Some more he's taking our group.
So the group photo was damn incomplete, without Don and Miss Chong (she disappeared. Still can see her in school anyway.) At least we still had Lihui. But no Don..?
Gathered at the MPH to say a final bye to the instructors and vice versa. Jeremy promised all of us ice-cream :D I think he's faking it. If he really buys us ice-cream, must come back personally and bring the whole bunch of instructors along. Then sec 3s will go mad until need to be admitted to Woodbridge hospital. Really wish that we can see them again.
Mr Thomson gave out prizes for the best campers and best group. None of them were from Major Group A. *Oh we were sad*
Then the instructors said a lot of things, "PL we love you!", I cried again. Tell me how not to? At first I managed to stop and then I couldn't take it and cried, again. It was a hard time for us, especially me. Wonder if anyone else ended up like me? Really cannot help it, the tears just flow like that. The more I try not to think of it, the more I can't control the tears.
INSTRUCTORS, WE LOVE YOU!!!
DONOVAN AND LIHUI, GROUP 4 (or rather, I) LOVES YOU TRUCKLOADS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! DON DON DON DON DON DON!!
Some of the instructors got up the bus with us, they were going to take the bus at Serangoon. We could not get any contact number or email from them. Otherwise, n-o-p-a-y. nopay. No pay. But of course, the younger instructors have lots of other methods. I have Timothy's blog address and email, and Fraddy's email. A silent clap please :D
Into the bus we went, outside the bus the instructors stood. Some had another camp to run. Poor things. As the bus left, they waved to all of us. I almost cried again, this time I managed to control. The camp may be over, but those memories... would be stuck in our hearts for a damn long time. Perhaps forever. I'll make sure all the other sec 3s remember it for the rest of their lives. Sigh.. This camp really means a lot to me.
I slept throughout the journey back to PL. Pushing away all thoughts of missing the camp was no easy task. What else could I do? I was going to end up in tears again.
The sea of yellow girls, teachers and the few instructors came out of the bus and scattered all around. Girls said one final bye to the instructors and went their own ways. Having no idea where to go, I followed Joey and Liying out. We were going to eat prata, and stalked the instructors. In the end, Asher, Andrew and a female instructor had prata, milo dinosaur and Indian Rojak with us.
Heard them talk about a lot of things, some disputes among the instructors. Of course, they were humans. How to live in total peace? These we understand. Other things like why can't the camp be longer, we can't understand. I think they are fantastic. They can hide all these and help us make the camp fun, like nothing not so positive is happening among them. They did not let their disputes afftect how they run the camp. Okay. Talked and talked. We were the last ones in PL to spend extra time with the instructors. (Those who like Ash, you guys jealous?) He has long eyelashes, ...
Then the female instructor, instructor Andrew and Liying cabbed back. They lived in the same area. The other one took 136 with Joey and I. Saw Joelle and Rebecca, I hope they were not thinking out of the box. It's just bus with instructor Ash. He took the bus going in the wrong direction again. -.- Joey saw him in the 11x bus. Whoops.
So here I am, sitting in front of the computer. Blogging. My eyes hurt.

in thunder, lightning or in rain?
Actually, it's in all three. Thunder was like so scary. Boom. It's cold !
Saturday's youth service. Eugene led worship and it was only his 2nd time. I think he did a pretty good job. His faith is so strong, you can actually feel the calmness in him when something worrying happens. Like before cell time, Charmaine's keyboard went off for no particular reason, Sean and Kah Wan could not do anything about it. Eugene simply believed that it would be fine, and it did :) He did not panic like the others on duty that day. Faith as small as a mustard seed can move mountains. The key is to trust God in any difficult situation. He does not think very much about playing the wrong chords, said it doesn't matter 'cuz people are worshipping and they won't notice. Some other worship leaders are not like that la. They are very particular about correct chords.
Thanks to my mentor Kara and last Saturday's 'sermon' by Boon Yeow, I have started praying and doing QT more often :D How can anyone say they have no time when the first thing they do when they step into the house is to switch on the comp and go online? That's ridiculous. Ok that was from my cell people.
Heard they're doing something about my cell. 2 girls is a BIG number man.
I'm so tired. Business proposal is the worst kind of project, ever. Friday work until 5+, Sunday survey the people in Heartland Mall (until kena chased out) and Hougang Mall for a few hours, yesterday work from 7.40am to 1.50am. Yes I'm serious, AM. Sarah slept over at my house. We put in so much effort, hopefully an get at least top marks in the class. Horse put in the most effort. The menu, speech and folder... and editing of ppt slides. Thank you Horse :) Some others just looks as if they can't be bothered.
I screwed up the presentation okay. When I talked, I was trembling. Horse thought it was very obvious. Asked the others, they said they didn't notice. It was really scary. Not even like first time doing presentation. And then I was doing the projection and didn't click the mouse on time. Sheila found our skit highly amusing. Chocolate makes you happy and pimply.
Gave Tania the moose cusion. She looks happy with it :)
This is April, worship month.

when shall we three meet again?
Woot I'm so proud of my group for Innovation Week. We worked OT.
Morning, stayed in class to discuss the survey and interview questions. It was not easy okay. Miss Ting accepted it and we went to Serangoon Gardens to conduct the survey. The first auntie we met was very friendly :D Took a long time there.
Then to Serangoon Central. There were so many other students doing surveys as well, not just PL. Peicai also. This time it was much easier. Pictures! haha. Reached Sarah's house at around 1.45pm. Worked until 5 plus, we did part of the skit, part of the presentation and part of the stuff for the folder. The skit is going to be nice, something very different from others. I seriously think 2 days is not enough for this business project. Going to work OT again on Monday I think.
Our aim:
Top the class for this project.
I'm so tired. Need my bottle of Power Booster. Too bad it's fake.

fair is foul and foul is fair
I AM CURRENTLY UNCONTACTABLE BY HANDPHONE. PLEASE PUT OFF ANY ATTEMPT OF DOING SO because I did something to the phone by accident, and now the fishing SIM card is "rejected". SO I CAN ONLY BE CONTACTED BY EMAIL OR HOUSE PHONE. I may be completely cut off from 2 major ways of communication soon, one of them being the use of e-mail. I might be banned from using the comp for a few months (because i failed to complete all the questions in the e.math textbook), then it's bye bye to my blog posts. Soon, it will be only the house and public telephone. I don't feel safe putting my house number up, ask around for it :)
It's fun to shop with Patricia :) We went to get shorts for the camp after school. Couldn't accompany Horse to the dentist. Walked almost the whole of PS from B4 to L4. The Phantom of the Opera original scores cost 42 bucks. To my Angel: Hints* no la I'm not to mean. Going to save up for it by not eating for recess. I want the scores so badly.
She's pissed with me because I'm pissed with her for pang-sehing me and leaving the group, leaving me with the most dislikable girl in PL. This dislikable girl is not easy to work with, she insists on doing a video ad for English, even when Rui Zi and I thought of doing it live. Priya told me she had no friends last year. I dread meeting them, especially when the dislikable girl is one of them. What choice have I got? Have to meet them to do the stupid ad tomorrow during recess. I'll just pretend I didn't bring the camera. I feel like slapping her. Control, control. Back to her. I wouldn't be deliberately ignoring her if she did not do that. Like, the only person I could relate to (in the group at that time), changing group? Now I don't know whether to be pissed or to break down and cry. Feels like the latter this time.
On a lighter note, well we ran 2.4km today, trials. I was 3rd in the class. 14.21s. Me, a someone who exercises once in a million years, who eats and sleeps like a pig, who avoids any form of exercice for fear of losing weight, be the 3rd to complete 2.4km? Wow. Not bad for a skinny person like me. 0.01s to an A grade. Imgaine my horror when I heard that. The key is never stop jogging even when you feel you are going to die. Keep going on. DON'T STOP AT ALL. Just jog.
I really want it to be like last time,
as if the world revolved around us.
Not speaking to any individual from

so fair and foul a day i have not seen
Was blog-surfing cum lurking, I find that this group of girls' blogs are interesting. Others are just plain boring. I noticed most blogs are black :D Wish some girls will just stop swearing, especially if they're Christians. Spelling the whole word out doesn't look nice on IE. Also because I detest swearing. Some other word can substitute that, like Lai Theng taught me last year. Fish. Mmmm I love fish and chips! Out of point again -.-
Mondays, science day. 4 periods of practical, 4 periods of excessive using of test tubes. I hate those goggles, they're so big. Lighting up bunsen burners can be fun if it gets lighted up when you first press the thing. THE thing. forgot what it's called. We were like panicking during chemistry cause we didn't know the ionic equation.
"Do you have the old notes??"
"How to do?"
"Let me see your answer"
"But I don't know!!"
"AAHHH I KNOW ALREADY ! "
"Quick copy, don't let Mrs Chong see!"
"Are you sure this is the answer? Sulphuric acid leh!"
"Hurry up we need to hand in now!"
Haha. All that drama. It was even more dramatic during biology. We were doing food tests, Benedict's, biuret and iodine. So there were food samples of bananas, lotus seeds, eggs (yuck), potatoes and apples. The sink at my bench was chocked, dunno who and who just emptied the contents of their test tubes there, making a polluted swimming pool out of that small pathetic sink. We could not get the damn water to flow. Hannah saved our lives by using her palm to 'pump'. That got the water flowing. Our hands stunk like garbage. All that food and Benedict's solution and and biuret solution and iodine.
I noticed something. That "haha" is very frequently used in our everyday conversations (both online and direct), and in blogs. EVERY SINGLE blog contains at least x number of "haha"s. HAHAHAHA. See, I just said "haha"! Look at the tagboards man. Almost every tag contains "haha". It has become so part of us that we just "haha" at everything. It's a wonder that many of our English compositions, informal and formal letters do not contain them. Can you imagine, if a person wrote it for English paper 1 for O level? LOL. "Haha" seems so Singaporean. Let's laugh. What do you say when you laugh? Hahahahahahahahahaha.
Similarly, Horses neigh when they attempt to talk. But my horse can talk and she wants her pinafore back from me.
My 2nd generation tamagotchi is going to be an adult tomorrow! No one to mate with, though. Adeline's going to mate with Madeline's. Sarah's is female. Horse's just mated. Her baby Her tama's baby is female. I don't want to see that ugly matchmaker in my tamagotchi screen, hahah. No other male in the group of us to mate with. Rharr.
Horse's just mated.

what bloody man is that?
Menses. That explains why I was feeling depressed the past few days. Not forgetting the cramps. I can't sneeze, cough or laugh. PAIN !

the near the blood, the nearer bloody
Sports day for PL. My job, thankfully, wasn't announcing results like Hilary said. She and her rubbish. It was just bringing the competitors to the 100m and 200m mark, deliver the attendance sheet to teachers, and do crowd control. Pretty easy, the other helpers took over my job halfway and that was all. Priya and Kelly didn't do much either. In fact they were lazier than me.
Lee house, so disappointing, except for the PL family race where the teachers came in 1st, and cheer competition, 2nd. Other than that, it's quite dead. I couldn't really hear them cheering from the competitors' stand. Chew and Archer house in the lead, as expected. When results were announced for the top 3 places, there were very little Lees. Sad, sad. Wanna say thank you to all who made this event possible, the sports and house comitees and the teachers from both schools. And of course, the girls in white, helpers.
Should I go for tonight's concert? I don't feel like going. What's the use of going for it when you have only 2 5cent coins in your wallet? Forget it.
I'm on duty tomorrow again. Meeting with mentors cancelled. I can wake up a few hours later tmrw morning :)
Feeling kinda bored now, I shall go and study.

false fase must hide what the false heart doth know
I'm in a better mood today.
Lee house rocks. Got our wristbands, now everyone wants the green one, 'cuz it's obviously nicer. Lime green. It's the nicest among all the 4 colours, red, blue, yellow and (lime) green. Woohoooo.
I am so NOT looking forward to sports day. Thought I didn't have duties. Thought. And then I checked the notice board. There, are 2 names from 3c2, Priya and I. Guess what we're doing. COMPETITORS' STEWARD!! So what on earth are we supposed to do? Hilary (Tan) thinks we are the commentator cos there are only 2 people in the entire list doing this job. Oh man, please, not that. I suck when it comes to this kind of things. I shall eat lots of laksa and chocolate and make myself get a sore throat so that I don't have to do anything. Poor Priya will be all alone. No, I'm not so mean, haha. If any of us make mistakes, Ms Ferng will chop and fry us for lunch. Why are there only 2 competitors' stewards????? Grrrr.
Surprised that Miss Ting likes my group's powerpoint slides on insolation weathering. She said it was nicer than hers? Hey, she's a teacher. I think we did well, though we did not prepare much. At least it's over, no more geography stuff to worry about. The next worrying thing: Music presentation on the violin and piano with Joanne, about Jazz music with Genesis, English project on advertising a service or product. I want to change group okay. Think my group sucks, I just cannot work with R and R. We are so different. There will be conflicts, I can predict the future. I cannot work with R and R. I cannot, no matter how hard I try to think positively. 'Cannot' is the word.
Mrs Tan made us stand for most of the Chinese lesson. Mainly because we were restless and did not show interest in the lesson. I could sense frustration underneath that smiling face. She tries very hard not to show the bad side of her.
Today's class prayer cell had a greater response from the class. But only 1 quarter of the class. At least Miss Ang isn't too angry with us, not like only 1 person staying back, pathetic. That person would be me. The class esther herself did not stay back. Now she's asking me to take over this position. =.=
There are some things which we must be sensitive about when in someone's house, whether it's your best friend or good friend. I'm not pointing fingers at anyone, just saying it. Basic things like not being itchy-fingered and self-service to stuff, or going into rooms without permission. Lying on beds is one of the things we should not do, especially when it's someone else's bed like parents or siblings. "Make yourself at home", but don't go to that extent. Just remember that it is someone's house, not yours and don't make yourself too at home :)
Good day to you.

away, and mock the time with the fairest show
I think most sec 3s are in the Shakespearean mood now. Just look at the blogs and MSN nicks :D Don't you just love Macbeth? Note: it's underlined, referring to the play and not the character.
My house was polluted with noise. I was the pollutant. Violin and piano, haha. Have to present the music thing on Thursday, I was just practicing! But it sounded like noise instead of music. My neighbours love me man.
What's wrong with me now? Something's not right, here's a mystery for you to solve. I'm feeling the same as what Joey felt in P6. About her. In fact, I feel like avoiding her. WHAT IS WRONG WITH ME?? She is not the only reason I'm feeling different. Some other people as well, like they have an attitude problem. Man, I feel as is I'm indifferent about things now. This confusion inside me is something which cannot be explained, a thing which can't be expressed in words. Depression? Maybe. But why at this time or targetted at my classmates? Definitely not PMS, not so soon. Sigh*. You may not know excatly what I'm experiencing. I don't expect anyone to. It's just, me.
Tonight, Macbeth rules. I hope not to be in a soliloquy. Cannot be ill, cannot be good. Then what?

new term, new week
Got our new timetables today, I think Fridays will suck. All single periods!! Except for Chinese. So that's like, 8 subjects?! Man. According to Yu Ting, we'll be missing a lot of Fridays this term, which makes it a good thing :D Mondays are the best, ALL double periods. Least books. Yayness.

August is a good bunny
Eh, I am surprised to know that strangers are visiting this blog. Hello and welcome to visitors planning to tag or just lurk. You are strongly encouraged to tag :)
Changed the layout again, I know it's a little too soon. Old spongy was taking far too long to load on my computer. It wasn't 'me' enough.
Watched Sky High and In Her Shoes this afternoon with Jasmine and Joey. Sky High is much easier to understand and enjoyable, it's a family show. In Her Shoes.. Jasmine and I could not figure out what was going on most of the time :D Kids? Whatever. At least I roughly know what it was about.
Sky (Joey's rabbit) shits a lot. Like a shitting machine.
Homework, homework. Chinese gan3 xiang3 (reflections) on an article. I've found the article, but too lazy to start on it. That requires a lot of thinking and energy. My Chinese blog is dead , just can't type in Chinese la. Hmm. I'm done with English, geog, bio, accounts, lit. Left with Chinese and music. Hate composing. It will suck, Joanne and I are going to fail that assignment. Just wait and see.
I cannot get Grace a present, not after spending 27 bucks on a toy.
Nothing much today. Worship prac at 1.30pm. Prepare the songs. Do QT. Drink milk. Eat cookies. Make sure I don't get a sore throat. Pray. Do homework. Practice my scales and exam pieces. Stop typing and shut down the computer so that I can start on some things. Goodnight people.

Stars, hide your fires
It's time. Time for what? That's for me to know and for you to find out.
(in this post/entry, Grace is Grace Yong, not Grace Quek.)
Class gathering/party/outing/bonding/whatever was kinda fun I guess. Eat, talk, eat, talk, play. Her room was pink, expected la. Yuhui thought it was messy. Wait till she sees my room! It's a super tiring day, could feel all my energy being drained out even before going home. Tried to sleep, but Adeline's persuading skills were fantastic. Robbed me of my innocent sleep. We should have stayed longer, though. 'We' meaning Joey and Sarah and I, my dad sent them homw. Our tamgotchi club thingy is growing. Valerie seemed really irritated with someone. So much so that when I did something by accident, she said "Aei, don't be like her!" And then Joanne was irritated with someone else. Joey was irritated with someone at first, I could sense it. I read people's minds ok. Poor horse, some more in front of Miss Ang! Who dares to bully my horse, I will stuff hay into their mouths! Hahaa.. Singray and otah rocks. Should have gotten more otah. Seemed like a lot of them were eating it. AND I SHOULD HAVE TRIED SERENE'S BROWNIES!! Grrrrr. The plates and cups kept flying away, the wind was playing tricks on us, hahaha. I tried to play Grace a birthday song, which was not very successful, there were a lot of wrong notes in the chords. So pai seh. Don't think anyone noticed. According to Joey, they all sang out of tune on purpose, I didn't have a clue to what was going on. Heck the piano. Hey I'm hungry. And tired. *yawns.
Scene in Grace's room.
Girl A playing the violin.
Girl B figuring out how to play the guzheng.
Girl D examining some hair straightener.
Girl C acting as a ghost.
Girls E and F playing with the lights switches.
Girl C takes over the guzheng.
{Disastrous? Why, yes. And we are sec THREEs.}
Then Girl D left the scene, leaving all the rest (uniformed group ppl) and poor Girl A (music group), the latter was confused about all their pumpings and punishments and stuff.
GOOD LUCK, ALL THE BEST TO THE ST.JOHN GIRLS GOING FOR COMPETITION. MAY THE LORD WATCH OVER YOU AND BLESS YOU. MUST MAKE PL PROUD OKAY? :) I don't know excatly who, pardon me.
I stink. Time for a bath.
the time is finally accurate. meaning all the previous ones were not.

fish la.
Younger siblings are SO annoying. My brother has been irritating me non-stop, from yesterday morning until today. We (horse and I) could not do the Geography thing in peace, because he kept disturbing me. He told my parents that I dropped my plate of rice and bought the Tamagotchi. So I got a scolding. A bad one. And then when I try to complain about how he has been annoying me for no reason, for the whole day, I get scolded again. The younger ones get away every single time, giving them more chances to be a nuisance. Why do the older ones always seem to get it? Can't parents be more fair? So what if the kids are young? They're dumb too. This is driving me to my grave.
Got my new toy this morning with horse, we saved $3. The old man agreed to sell it at lower price as we were the first to buy the tamagotchi. I find it ok, quite fun to make friends and play games. I'm referring to the toy, not humams. It's definitely better than those lousy imitation ones.
Speaking of imitation stuff, it's time for me to get new footwear. The pair I'm wearing is not wearable. Like it's getting uglier and going to spoil anytime. Birkenstock or something. Bought that from Thailand, only S$4. Cheapo slippers. That's the kind of quality you get for buying imitation goods. Likewise, we shouldn't download music, movies, anything you know is copyrighted or of good quality. Because the free ones, mostly illegal, are 'lower' than the originals. My point is, buy originals and say no to piracy.
Collecting my spectacles tomorrow. I'll look funny.
Yuhui said a lot of peeps are not going for the class party/gathering/outing/whatever? Miss Ang made us cancel all the shit we have to go for this, and they are not coming? Hoho. //I have a feeling that it will be boring, and there will be loads of leftovers. Food. The pig is coming to eat! That's me :)
Today is a busy day. Phone call after phone call, SMS after SMS. I even had difficulty going to the toilet. Not just me, others are busy. Horse is busier than me. Church friends are so busy that I have people queuing(?) up to ask me to replace them for this Saturday's worship. Which makes me busy, 'cause I have been on duty for every Youth Ablaze service. We need more backup singers.

Thank You for the world so sweet
Should I cut my hair? How short? How do I put those contact lenses in? How in the world am I going to finish so much work within this week? Why is it that whenever I meet church friends between heartland mall and my house, Kah Wan is always one of them? Why didn't I practice maths questions before the test and pass my CA and get my MP3 player? Why is there so much to do, and so little time? Who is that person? Why do I keep going there, I'm definitely not obsessed! Why does August shit all the time? Why can't he eat less and shit less and give me less work to do? When is Mrs Wong coming back? Is there any way I can get instant money without breaking the law? How is Kar Mun now? Why must the class party/outing/bonding session/dunno what be at Grace's house (I'm not against it)
Ms Kok praised me today. Haha, just ask the 3c2 maths girls
Going to get my tamagotchi on Monday, so far it's only Adeline and me. I wonder who else is going..? Heartland Comics Connection only has 3, all of them look awfully awful. Anyone willing to pay for my new toy? o_O (stop dreaming la) http://tamatown.com . Rather childish, yeah, but it looks fun. Ah, the feeling of being a kid all over again without inequalities signs, number lines, indices, fractions, decimals, integers, prime numbers, weird diagrams and shapes prying their way into my dreams. Okayyy, out of point.
There's this person staying around here who sneezes very loudly. It even sounds funny. Then I would imitate him. Nothing happens, thankfully.
I walked past a man who burped super SOFTLY (note sarcasm). Just like the girl I took bus with this morning, burp right into my face and claim it's a nice burp. Please la, haha.
HolyFishing shit. So my yahoo mail signature has always been that? NO way. I have been sending out rubbish smileycentral stuff! That site sucks, I was stupid enough to be tricked into downloading their stuff a few years ago. There's this email, (I've got enough of it, thanks) which says click here for free ipod or something like that. Hey, that's obviously not true, there's no such thing as free. One person clicks on the link, his/her entire contact list gets it. Think before you click on anything suspicious, please.

Just talked to Joey, aka my horse. We talked for almost an hour at my doorstep. Why not in my house? I dunno. Outside's more cooling? xP HAHAHA, hand wrist. For the 1st time, horse is busier than me. Tomorrow, go order the otah, go to comics connection to ask about the tamagotchi, and do the geography thing. Better do a good job. Most of us didn't get a very good grade and that's counted in CA/SA1. I hope it doesn't turn out like the Macbeth thing where I end up doing all the work.
Neopoian Stock Market. Must make money!!
No, I didn't sleep at 5am, had a stomachache. So slept at 2 plus. Maybe I'll be able to do it tonight? Copy bio text, POA, find some geog stuff, start on music and not wait for Joanne, (hmm..) English- find advertisments and do reading rites 4, read up the Macbeth stuff, Chinese do some newspaper thing, plus FINISH UP ALL THE MATHS QUESTIONS IN THE TEXTBOOK FOR CHAPTERS 1, 2, and 3!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Oh man. Tonight, homework has won the battle. Sleep lost. Time to start unpaid work. Goodnight. (oh no, it's happy working for me.)

pizzas are yummy
Just passed Horse my files, she's gonna 'refer' to them, hah I've done my filing (: Poor Horse, must eat more hay and jog less, you need all the energy for your busy schedule. You don't need to be so kind and let Adeline have the pink one, who ask her to have a pink bag and pencil case and previously, pink blog. I sound mean :p
I'm going to do the maths textbook questions and some homework until, say, 5am. Must finish everything ASAP! Then can go out from Wednesday to Friday. I wonder how that can be done. Sounds like yours truly has been transformed into 'superwomangirl'. Piano lessons are less enjoyable these few weeks, because I can't play the dumb piece from the C section. (Title: For Johnny Mehegan) It may be just 2 pages long, but it's difficult to play 2 completely different rhythms/articulation/whatever simultaneously. I haven't touched that piece for a week, and there's lesson tomorrow. Wish me luck.
God has protected Auntie Zelia and Uncle Edward, what happened recently was no joke. It's downright dangeorous. Praise Him for His protection over them. Jia Yan will know what I'm talking about.
Today's lunch, one word: Yummy.
Pizza Hut student meal with Yu Ting, Jie Xin, Hui Leng and Wen Qin. (notice something? all their names are non-English) Hawaiian pizza rocks stones pebbles shells! I can't wait to go there again. Jie Xin did not touch her Cream of Chicken, that tasted good. I think Wen Qin drank hers up.
My neopets account is rotting. So are my np, they are going to rot together with the a/c.
Famous Amos cookies.
Hashbrowns
Korean seaweed
Sushi!
Pizza
Backed rice and pasta
Lots and lots of cheese

Chicken nuggets
I'm hungry.
I'm going to do the maths textbook questions and some homework until, say, 5am. Must finish everything ASAP! Then can go out from Wednesday to Friday. I wonder how that can be done. Sounds like yours truly has been transformed into 'super
Lots and lots of cheese

cell bonding
It's good to watch movies with the 18-year-olds, especially since they're from church. They know when to censor stuff, fast forward certain parts. Mainly because Sarah and I were the only underaged ones, I think. But the movie was rated PG! Some sexual references, my foot.
"Is a lot of sexual references!" -Eugene.
Slept at almost 4am, the guys still had the energy to play xbox or playstaion. I couldn't take it.
I'm still feeling uncomfortable about my cell, last night's bonding:
13 people, 3 out of the 13 are girls.
Santi didn't stay over. Wan Hui and I slept with the 18 yr old girls, Beatrice and Sarah. Freaking cold in the dance room. I left for home quite early this morning for tuition.
I cannot wait to get my tamagotchi, the transparent green one! Can you believe we actually have something like a tamagotchi club, with already 6 members? We need to elect a president or chairlady soon.

shitheads
I failed English for the first time. Lots of us falied maths, and according to Cheryl, it's UNGRADED, below F9. Yeah it's that serious. I didn't get any Cs, surprisingly. They jumped up to A and B. So I have 2 A1s, 2 B3s, 2 B4s, 1 D7 and 1 ungraded. Conclusion: I have very good and very bad results. Top 20% for bio/chem, geography and POA. Hey I'm not boasting or anything. Because, like I said, failed English and maths, the most important subjects. Isn't that like shit. My father is going to hit the roof when he comes back from his business trip.
Today's mass prayer cell had a GOOD response from 3c2 man, so exciting. Wanna know who went? Filch and I. Applause please. Adeline said she would come but disappeared after her NP thing. Other classes had half their population in the hall. Felt weird, just 2 of us standing there watching the others with their classes. Miss Ang was encouraging, though. She didn't nag at Serene for not handing the list of those who needed lunch.
Thanks a lot to Adeline and Sheila, now Serene and I have to copy out dunno how many pages of the biology textbook.
Mrs Tan is the best Chinese teacher. So far. But then she goes quite fast and we end up ahead of the other classes. You will see me blogging in Chinese soon.
MSN: When my status is away, I'm really away from the computer. So don't start a conversation unless you don't mind late replies (:
Who wants to go to Pizza Hut?

(:
Are you happy? I am.
Walked to Serangoon Stadium with Charmaine, Ling Ying and Jess from school today for the 90m race. Lee house was the last to run.
THE LEESWILL BE ARE BACK BY FAITH!!!
Can't help feeling high. Lee house, all the wayyyyy! Actually, running last has an advantage. Cause most of the other runners have gone home, so there is less pressure from the huge crowd. Archer house must have had a hard time, haha. Poor things. Hey, poor me too. My head was spinning and I almost collapsed after the race. If not for that little energy I had to pull myself to the grandstand.......
My money literally went down the drain. The coins dropped out of my pocket and into the drain. Not sure how much I have lost.
I got F9 for maths. FANTASTIC. You know how fast my class is going? Like, one and a half chapter(s) ahead of others. There's no other reason why we did so badly. I 1/2 wish Ms Kok taught us. 3c1 maths people are currently hopeless. Mrs Wong, come back!
I'm Tania's cat. She's a good owner who loves her pet :)

woot
Did system recovery on my computer, so it's like super fast now, don't have to wait for 2 years before the internet browser loads. Just that some programmes installed are all GONE. Even those MSN emoticons, all gone.
1st time failing English. E. maths was not a negative number, but still a single digit. Thank God for people in church who are willing to help me for free (: Hard to find an English tutor, I have to teach myself again. Pretty surprised with geography, much better than expected. I know you're dying to know, ask me personally, haha. Accounts was close to full marks. Mrs Eng is speeding up so I'm afraid I can't slack as much during her lessons. I bet she will be in class before we reach class tomorrow.
NEWater is so clean, it's safe for drinking! Today's visit was so interesting! I enjoyed myself! Hahaha! -.- Fact is, the whole thing was boring and it was one of the most "enjoyable" learning journeys ever. They wanted to change the puclic's opinion about NEWater, that it is not some sewage water but reverse osmisis and stuff... If I spell as osomosis, Miss Sem will come running after me with a penknife.
I feel like dropping music. So much to do... I'll just see how badly I do for this semester and decide later in the year. Projects, theory, harmonising, composing, figured bass, different characteristics and periods of music, plus all other subjects, I might just die under all these pressure. Unfortunately for me, high pressure does not move over to a low pressured area.
I hate blood. Especially when there is too much discharge of the disintegrated uterine lining together with some blood.
Red blood cells are circular, flat and biconcave. They contain haemoglobin and help transport oxygen from the lungs to all parts of the body. No nucleus, which makes it different from normal cells. The mitochondria is where cell respiration is carried out. Acts as a "power house" . Blah blah blah blah blah. When is Miss Ang going to return us our social studies paper? Next year?
I have a sudden craving for potato chips, chocolate and ice cream. What a nice combination. Similarity: all are junk food. Too much is bad for health! Must control! Eat more healthy food. Hoho, I love eating. Yum yum. Lets have a party at my house during the holidays and eat all you want.
If 3c2 is the most disciplined class again, Singapore will snow. If we are the cleanest class, Joey will become straight.
Forgetting what lies behind
Setting our hearts on the prize
Always keeping our eyes on our Lord Jesus
We're running the race to win
ALl the way to the end
Laying down every sin that will seek to hinder us
And we'll be faithful to our calling
For you are able to keep us from falling
For in your promise we will trust
We'll be faithful to finish the work you began in us

i don't want any more lessons with the sec 1s
My sudoku is under someone's desk. I am going to hammer her tomorrow.
Busy, busy, busy. I have a feeling Wanyi is angry with me again. No, I think it's the whole exco. Cos I needed to leave for Friday's concert and I did not inform them in advance. Was in school uniform together with Joanne, the rest were in their own clothes.
Saturday, peer lites' meeting with our mentors. Then worship prac and youth ablaze all the way until seven. Long day, then to Jack's Place to celebrate my mum's birthday. I love baked salmon, yum yum. So that's 2 days gone, with no time to study for lit.
Sunday, I had cramps and couldn't move. Dragged myself for the 2nd service, haw haw haw. Clarissa had some school choir stuff and I was going to backup alone, so I panicked. Pulled Grace in for prac for the corporate prayer meeting, I wasn't going to do it alone, no. This is Grace Quek, by the way, not Grace Yong. We need more backup singers, or else I will have to sing every week. My story doesn't end here. After the prayer meeting, was quite late for lunch, we ate anyway. Stood for so long, legs were aching. Then concert at NUS by the chinese orchestra, and blah bblah blah blah blah blah blah blah. Which leaves me with totally not time to study lit.
This morning. Copy bio corrections, social studies, tried to look through the Macbeth but just couldn't. Conclusion: i'm going to FAIL lit, again. Geography marks were really unexpected. God was merciful :) Let's see, what should I talk about. MATHS, HOMEWORK HAVENT DO YET oh no. ... what went on after school? Short term memory sorry... oh yes. Walked out with Stacey, Priya, Adeline and Priscilla. The girl whose name starts with the letter "A" is terribly sick in the brain. Comtaminated withboobs.I feel sick just thinking about it.
Wish me luck for my piano lesson. Hopefully there's no lecture this time. If only I could cancel it as easily as striking out a word written on paper...
LT; finally, a word from you
mel; i only like the seaseed. (:

Symphony 92.4 . Good music, good life.
I think that's the ONLY thing they say. The rest are mainly classical and romantic pieces.
POA test was very ok! At first I couldn't balance the trial balance. Then I panicked. Was sharing calculator with Joey so it was quite difficult to do my checking. But I balanced it anyway. $25270
PL feels like my home. Especially the classroom. It's so nice to know that we're all going through things together. You may not know what I mean. Was just looking back and it's like, sec 3 already. We only have up to next year to enjoy ourselves in PL. Then everything's gone. As in no more PL girls surrounding you. No more comfort of knowing that, (i also dunno what). There's a safe and secure feeling, being with all the rest of the sec 3s... Looks like I can't express my feelings properly.
All the names I put on my list, the one put up on the class wall wth the photos together with the rest. Actually right, I'm like Persie. Just that the names were not random. I put the whole class so that there would not be any negative feelings. Not all names are on my list. I mention it here because I know this blog is visitor-free most of the time. Al most all the time. I know people like Lai Theng just come and read and go without tagging, AM I RIGHT?? Haha. So tag and leave your footprints here okay.
Can't go for the trip. $2400. How to pay?

jia youuuu!
I don't want to die such an early death. Or maybe I should just jump down from my bedroom window (which is the 2nd floor). I can't make up my mind.
1) I'm going to fail the emaths test. Miss Liang still said it was easy?? I couldn't even solve a single question, damn it. And I know I'm going to get -10/25. Whatever, Tania, maybe you'll get a minus twenty. Mrs Wong, quick come back or we will continue to fail.
2) 1A1 class outing proposal!!!! I doubt I'll even work on it, meaning There'll be trouble. I know it.
3) Lit test next week, accounts test tomorrow.
4) My English is deproving like anything.
5) Stupid Adeline keeps laughing at me not experiencing monsoon yet.
Those are the 4 reasons why I should jump. Actually, there's no need to get worried cos you know I wont do silly things. Bit out of point :D
Oh yeah, JOEY. Yesterday she and Adeline were arguing about J------ being macho and all. How one said a girl can't be macho and another one say can. But the fact still remains that a girl cannot be macho. Yuhui said they looked like husband and wife fighting. LOL. She laughed the most. So after school I mentioned the husband and wife thing. Did I say that it was the first time a wife was taller than her husband? Can't remember.
me: haha, Adeline is your husband
Joey: I don't like, like her
Hilary: You mean love?
Somehow, they kept being repeated throughout the journey back to hougang. Kept replaying like a tape recorder. I bet the same thing will happen tomorrow.
Got back our bio results today, we did not do well at all. Except for Melody, smart ass. Our results were terrible. Almost the whole class was depressed after the lesson. But, that isn't the end of the world, not yet. Do not be discouraged, we still have a year to Os.
Boxer had said in Animal Farm, "I will work harder!" In fact, that was his motto. We can try to be like him. Worrying about the CA marks or getting depressed won't help to pull up the marks, otherwise the cumulonimbus clouds will permenantly cover the earth. We must work harder! We can do it! Maybe we should stay back everday and study together, this way we can spur and encourage one another. Then we will all pass our tests with flying colours! It wouldn't be nice if the colours started to sink and get dissolved, then there will be no more colours and we will all die together. Paper chromatography won't be able to help at all. 3c2, jia1 you2!
Be considerate, spare a thought for others. I get really irritated when people keep asking what others got for a test, just because they scored well. Neither is it good to say you got lousy marks, what carelsess mistakes and "can actually be the highest one lor", all these comments should be kept to herself. It justs makes things worse for those who didn't do very well. I am speaking (typing) on behalf of the weaker ones, myself included. Can't encourage, I suggest he or she shuts up. Whatever it is, we should not discourage a person.
I think I'm abnormal. I want to be normal! Why haven't I experienced monsoon yet? Why isn't the lover part of my body growing? Lol, think I"m going to be referred to SGH on day about this problem.

biology
Right eye is sore and bothering me. Miss Ting has long feet. My rabbit is horny. It wants to mate with the cloth. There's a bio test tomorrow, E maths test the day after, and a POA test on thursday. Have to submit the class outing proposal to Miss Chan for the sec 1s' class outing by Friday. Peer lites meeting with mentors on Saturday, then my group will go to old folks' home, orphanage or childcare centre to do some stuff. I can't go, must go for worship prac and it's quite important cos of Sunday. About the Julia and Nisa thing, we still haven't tell any of the teachers, I'm prepared to get a lecture from Miss Kok and Mrs Soh. I want to watch I Not Stupid Too. I am deprived of TV. Don't even know what 'snuppy' or whatever it is about. I want to go for the Symposium!!!! But no money, so can't even think about it. Sharon amswered all the questions during SS today, unfair! Grace is so pink. Hyun bin, wahahaha.
RIGHT. Those were totally RANDOM stuff. Let's get on with a biology lesson.
Enzymes
*biological catalysts made up of protein.
*molecules that speed up reactions without themselves being chemically changed.
*produced by living cells.
Digestion is the breaking up of large, insoluble, indiffusible molecules into smaller, simpler, diffusible molecules.
Hydrogen peroxide is sometimes released during chemical reactions.
It is poisonous!
-the cell produces enzyme catalase which catalyses the breakdown of hydrogen peroxide into water and oxygen
-in this way, the toxic effect is prevented.
Classification of Enzymes
- Digestion is an example of a chemical reaction called HYDROLYSIS.
--- using water to speed up/water splitting.
--water molecules are needed to break down a comples molecule into simpler molecules.
.:. Enzymes that catalyse hydrolytic reactions are known as HYDROLASES
-Examples of hydrolases:
--Carbohydrases
*amylase (salivary/pancreatic) which digest or hydrolase starch.
*cellulases which digest cellulose. Not produced in mammals, that's why animals cannot digest cellulase.
--Proteases (Pepsin in the stomach pH2, Trypsin in the small intestine pH9)which digest proteins.
--Lipases which digests fats (lipids)
-Digestive enzymes are used in some washing powders!
Characteristics of enzymes
-they speed up chemical reactions w/o being changed.
-they are required in small amounts
-they are highly specific in their actions
--e.g amylase will only act on starch, not proteins or fats.
--action of enzymes illustrated using the LOCK AND KEY hypothesis
----the enzyme (lock) has an active site that is of a spatial configuration.
----Only a specific substrate can bind to the active site of the enzyme.
----Only substances that can complement the shape of the active site can be broken down.
-Effect of temperature
--inactive at low temperature, 0°C to 30°C
--temperature ↑, activity ↑
--enzyme twice as active for every 10°C rise until the optumum temp is reached (40°C to 48°C for most enzymes)
--enzyme denatures beyond the optimum temperature.
WHY DO ENZYMES BECOME DENATURED??
because i want them to
because, Too high temp will destroy the protein nature of the enzyme.
- effect of pH on enzymes
--enzymes are very sensitive to pH.
--can only work within a narrow range.
--choose the narrowest optimum pH thing in MCQ.
-Effects of substrate and enzyme concentrations on rate of reaction
--(refer to page 41 of TB, fig 4.4) As the substrate concentration increases, the rate of reaction increases initially until point X is reached. A further increase in substrate concentration does not increase the rate any further. This is because, at any given instant, all the enzyme molecules are being saturated or made used of. The amount of products formed per unit time is the same.
WHAT IS A LIMITING FACTOR??
it is any factor that directly affects the rate at which a process, such as a chemical reaction occurs if quantity is changed.
HOW CAN YOU INCREASE THE RATE OF REACTION AT POINT X?
Increase the enzyme concentration la!
Some stuff on diffusion and osmosis.
The stem curls outwards, with the cortex cells expanding more than epidermal cells.
This is caused by the turgor pressure in the cortex cells.
Cortex cells prevented fom expanding be the epidermis layer, made up of epidermal cells.
They are held by a cuticle and so less capable of stretching.
The cuticle also protects the epidermal cells against water loss.
Cutting releases the restraintexerted by the epidermis.
Sitll have a lot, I'm not typing anymore. Time is 11.35pm

WHY DO ENZYMES BECOME DENATURED??
because, Too high temp will destroy the protein nature of the enzyme.
Cutting releases the restraintexerted by the epidermis.

schools
School's alright so far, I guess. I'm begining to like 3c2, though I still miss 2c1 heaps. I know many of us still do. I like the times where we would simply stay in the classroom after school, with simply nothing to do, or contribute to the decorating of the class. Things are different this year. I wasn't so interested in helping with class stuff, also because most people aren't. You need a strong support in order to pull people in to stay back and help. I'm confused and depressed with some personal stuff, all these thoughts are getting nowhere actually. What crap am I talking about? -.-
Blog some other time. Need to prepare for church and worship prac. Hopefully everything will go well. Tania's blog is highly amusing. Go there when you have the time. It helps brighten up your day. time now is 10.47am, saturday, 18 feb

I feel so lousy all over again. The atmosphere here is getting more and more depressing, I admit. Just wanna say something
Christel, Faith, and even Jon, I'm sorry I screwed up the whole thing. (Saying this though I know they'll never be here.) I guess I wasn't really prepared for it, the message was too last-minute. Yeah, this is not the first time I screwed up, please give me another chance if you guys are thinking of doing something about or to me. The more I think of it, the worse I feel. I know you'll say that it's okay and I just need more confidence, etc... But that's just how I feel about yesterday. I hope to do better in the future. Thanks for the many chances you have given me last time. My weakness, I confess, is not being sure when to start and that my 'confidence is running low'. I have been perfectly honest now, don't comment on this if any of you even see it. No, I take back my previous sentence. Shouldn't be runniny away from mistakes and a chance for others to correct me or give advice.
I feel like crying. Seeing the rest of them together happily makes me feel like shit.
******
Have to do the Macbeth ppt on Microsoft Word. The entire music project is weighing me down. Deadlines are Monday and Thursday respectively. Need to practice my piano scales, do music homework, finish up my mountain of schoolwork and study for Social Studies, Geography, Chemistry, Biology and Principles of Accounts. Tests. Not forgetting the PC lesson with 1A1 tomorrow which I have yet to prepare. Nisa isn't replying my messages or answering my calls, which leaves me to prepare for the lesson alone. All group works seem to be my work now. I might just collapse the next minute and everything would be fine. Oh, happy dreaming, man. Looks like all the negative stuff are pushing their way into me. Pray for me, please. Thanks guys.

All of a sudden, the word 'us' has a completely different meaning. Things have changed. Quite dramatically, I'm afraid. Feeling so... alone. Doesn't feel nice, when one of your *closest* is no longer *like this*. I wish certain things could remain like last year. Break times have never been the same again. These words might confuse you, yes, but details about this should not be put here, yea? Don't wanna offend anyone.
Tests. Projects. Homework. They're the reasons why I haven't been blogging. Even my time with God has been cut. Oh, not forgetting peer lite stuff and church. Might not sound stressful, but try putting on my shoes. You'll see what I mean. It all comes to the same conclusion: Too many things to do, too little time. Come what, come may. Time and the hour runs through the roughest day.
I kinda regret joining as a peer lite, come to think of it. Nah, it's about helping and serving. Should be happy doing it right? Planning for games and lessons are a headache. They are taking up a lot of time. Teaching a group of noisy sec 1s is no easy task, sometimes they get out of control. Anyway, I would appreciate if someone could help me with the ice-breakers. Running out of ideas.
Geography lessons = copying lesson = stress x stress
Miss Ting is going so fast, I honestly have no idea what the climate thing is all about. All our wrists gets overworked at the end of every lesson. I fear that one day the whole hand will fall out. So much for pure geography.
Thanks, Jasmine. Thanks a lot. Many thanks to Yu Ting too. Both of you, for listening to my troubles and being there for me.
I will change my blogskin. Not sure when, but when I do, (fret not,) some of your links will be added in. The whole thing is outdated man. time now is 12.22am, 8 Feb 06.

-no title-
Was looking back at my older posts, and I saw that there are a lot of typos. Too lazy to edit them.
I couldn't worship yesterday, though I tried very hard to. I soon realised why. I guess we just have to learn from our mistakes and move on. Let's not be discouraged, yes? =) God isn't mad with our mistakes, like Boon said. Still, we're sorry if we made it difficult for anyone to worship last afternoon/evening. I had been thinking over some of the things Joel and Eugene said. About how easily pride can come in, in this ministry. It's no good, if you're like fantastic in this area, but do it without any feeling. I hope Grandma would think over and persuade her dad about the matter.
August bit my dad yesterday, serves him right for always wanting to give (August) away :P This bunny hasn't bitten me for a year.
Social studies! Why must Miss Ang give us so much homework. ~!@#$%^&*(_+ I was reading the textbook and fell asleep, only to wake up and realise I had read 1 paragraph. Ain't I a fast reader.
Lucky no PC lesson with sec 1s tomorrow. Or I'll die.
I hope Sarah Tsang doesn't close her blog. I do enjoy reading her posts. Can "eeemproove my Eeeengliishh"
Roster is finally out. 2 vocal teams this time, with Stefanie an addition to my team, and Santi, who's new to this ministry.

I feel so useless.
Life seems meaningless all of a sudden.
Things are happening, in school and at home.
These are mostly unpleasant stuff.
Not looking forward to the week, if you ask me.
2 music projects already. Contact me if you know anything about Jazz or Gamelan.
They're for this Music Elective Programme. So I'll be working with Genesis and Hilary. Yes, the one from debate and handbells. Not the onw in 3c2. By the way, there are 4 girls taking Music in my class. Isn't that great.
This teacher was in Dodsworth house last year, and in Lee house this year. How unlucky can the we get?
It's Friday the 13th, I witnessed a bird shitting again. Damn gross please. Like iI was staring at the bird on the chair and it started shitting. Hope those birds won't go round shitting on chairs again next year.
Julia's conversations on MSN are so formal, it's as if i'm talking to a foreigner.

New
It's raining pigs and chickens. There's been a drastic change in the weather here. Like it's freaking cold? Yeah, how could you even feel cold in Singapore, but the weather is seriously bd.
New year, new teachers, new subjects, new cell...
NEW CELL.
Do you know that this new cell is not very good.? Altogether only 4 girls including Wan Hui. PAthetic! Look at how many guys there are this year. Can they rearrange the cell members? Like at least a similar number of guys and girls...
BBQ for Esperanza people at Wee Kiat's house. I saw Ling Jia cleaning up. I helped. Denice helped. Ling Jia went home. Cheryl helped. Andew and Benedict helped. We did mass cleaning at that area. Drowned a snail. Poor thing. Sec 3s helped to clean up leh! So nice right. And the rest just enjoy (:
Class outing/bondind session/steamboat/BBQ/whateveryoucallit.
LIVE PRAWNS, Like they are alive and just put them with butter and kill them. Then the poor prawn gets cooked and eaten up. Delecious. Sat with Miss Ang and Mrs Goh, Shelia, Sheevonne, Chamaine Leong, Melody, Wen Qin. Took so much food pls. Wahahah..
Worship team BBQ. Frankly, there wasnot enough food. Some marshmallows were eaten without being melted, lol. While mine was totally burnt. I ate it anyway :D Sting ray! Yummy.
A problem. Between the few of us. It would be unwise to type it out. Let me say that the teachers have to be informed to avoid too much trouble. It wasn't me who wanted to change in the first place. No. Hurry up please.
I went to have a look at the handbell auditions. So many sec 1s. Talked to them and most of them were nervous, naturally. Thank God no one put as 5th choice. Or they can forget about joining. Heard from 1 of them that Mr Fong's not teaching in the primary school anymore. Hopefully he'll be guiding and training us next year. =Gold with honours=.
thelast thing i want to see is this
why is it like that??
can't you stay away from ...., or go find someone else?
nevertheless
i shall concentrate on my studies and try hard not to be bothered by you and you

Over
Yeah, it's over. Had been so busy with rehearsals "that now i kinda feel lost not doing anything for a while... haha.. its was a great time though..:D" That was taken from someone's blog, I find it very true.
Esperanza was not much of a success. When the sermon started, LOADS of people stood up and left. Cast and dancers had to go in to sit there and give Melvin some support. It's very sad to see that they only go for fun stuff, and leave when the serious part comes in. Oh wells. Guess it just takes time for them to learn to sit through the whole program. The adults one on Sunday was shocking. The whole sanctuary, packed with people, some even had to stand or drag extra chairs and sit at the back. It was scary and made me feel a little nervous. Haha, but it's OK since i took off my specs, that made the audience seem less scary. They were very responsive, that's good. :)
I want to be involved in next year's Christmas evangelistic event!
Merry Christmas to all, and thanks a million for your prezzies :) Brownie from A, K and B tasted yummy, wish there was more.
(chewits! i can't get enough of them...)
Hope I won't be changing cell next year. Love my cell a lot.
Few more days left and it'll be the end of this year! Which means have to go back to school soon. OH, and PC lessons for sec 1s, must prepare. Soon. To avoid last-minute preperations. Homework.... don't remind me.
Korean seaweed rocks. I don't watch the drama, I eat their seaweed.
My braces. The next colour would be pink! Don't ask why.

Something, someone
You know what? I know you don't know so I'm telling you now.
I have a boyfriend. He's the cutest thing you can find on earth. He'll die without me. He is....... ....... ........
my rabbit, August.
HAHAHA.
He's weird. Joey passed me a bunny water bottle. I put that and his own bottle at for him and went off to Bangkok. My grandmother dropped by at my house, and said that August doesn't want to drink from Joey's bottle, he only wants his own. Even when his bottle is empty and he's really thirsty, that stubborn ball of fur just refuses to drink from another bottle. -.-
Just 2 days ago, my maid helped me to fill up August's bottle. and he bit her.
I cleaned up his "land" so many times, stuck the broom in to sweep up that area, even stepped over the fence thing and into his "land" to disturb him. No, he didn't bite me. LoL.
August likes to kick sawdust out of his potty for me to sweep and try to dig a hole at the corner of the balcony. He potty-trained himself. Surprise, surprise! 2 years ago, I put a box with sawdust into his cage for him to sleep in. So warm and nice, and HE SHITTED INSIDE IT AND SLEPT OUTSIDE THE BOX INSTEAD. I tried to make a comfortable part of the cage for him, but it seems that he likes to sleep in the open and shit in the box. I gave up. When he grew bigger, he got this part of the balcony to himself and was much happier. The cage is still there, with his potty and food in it. I leave the cage door open so he can hop in and out anytime he wants to.
I love my August.
Right.
I must remember that feedbacks are good and they help you to improve and work on your weak points, not to critise and make you feel bad. That's very important. If you keep thinking that you're lousy and everyone wants to say bad things about you, wake up. Now. Or you won't succeed in life. Take my word seriously, or regret not doing so.

iamnotfeelinggood
Just realised... that school's starting soon. I have less than a month to complete all my homework, school and tuition, to revise my work, go for rehearsals and performances, handbell pracs, perfect that piano piece, plan CIP for the sec 1s, prepare next year's PC lessons, start worrying about taking music, blah blah.
I'm should have realised this earlier. It's too late to regret not starting on all these last month.
I
AM
STRESSED
Panicking wont help to finish my homework, so there's no use doing that. What I need to do is stop staring at the computer and TV screen and pick up my books. Or drag myself to the church office and sit in front of the books and stacks of paper. I MUST move away from distractions, they can't fly away from me. Looks like I need my father to start nagging at me again.
There's a handbell performance on the 23rd, at night. And there MIGHT be a rehearsal. I better inform Joanne or Wan Hui soon, or risk getting kicked out. Jia Yan went on a holiday without informing them in advance and she was out of the drama. See how strict the sules are? Jolene's stricter too. Scarier.
I missed the camp.
Bangkok is nice and over-populated. The traffic is always jammed. Things there are very cheap, still can bargain. I bought a lot of things. Uncle Jimmy's family got the most things. The kids want to keep snakes as pets. o_O . In Singapore, it's stray cats. Over there is dogs. S'pore's much, much cleaner and greener. Now I know what people mean by 'clean and green city'. It is very difficult to find a dustbin there, and here, there are dustbins everywhere. I witnessed the elephant shitting. Yucks gross. Jetstar Asia is a small plane. Taking off is nice. HAhahaha.
Tomorrow will be a busy day for me.
Worship prac, Youth Ablaze service followed by rehearsal.
Wonder when's the next time I'll blog again.
time is 12.01AM, Saturday morning.
dunno where the time and day thing went to O_o

Peer lites' camp/
Peanut Butter rocks! haha.. That's my group name.
I've learnt A LOT from the camp. Setting realistic goals, thinking positively, overcoming obstacles... Planning the CIP for the sec 1s will be the biggest headache. We can do it! It'd just the commitment and all that. After that still have to send Julia my schedule. -.-
We are divided into 4 groups. Each group has 2 mentors. Mine only has 1. Her name's Jianxin and she's studying in HWA CHONG JC!! All of us were like, staring at her with that shocked look when she told us that. Haha. Oh, and we have mentors because the programme is called YLPM, Youth Leaders and Mentors Programme. Yep.
The campsite was in Buona Vista, near Kent Ridge park, at NACLI, also called National Community Leadership Institute. It was the best, man. We slept on beds in air-con rooms with attatched bathrooms and each had our own room key card. Like hotel right? Jungle and Cave lodge were the best rooms. I got the Cave one! Special, got 2 toilets, and a platform for the beds. Bigger than the other rooms. (better than home, cos I don't have a single air con in my house. Now my father's planning to remove the TV, which leaves me with only textbooks and the computer.) That camp was damn slack la, 1.5h break for us to bathe and all that. That's like, so long, considering we had bathrooms in every room. Right. Enough about rooms.
There was this hike or adventure trail on the 3rd day at Kent Ridge park. Each pair in the group took turns to lead. One of the tasks was to crawl under the drain for dunno how many metres. That was the worst. I think not everyone did that. We had to climb over this wooden wall thing, which was obviously high for all of us. But it was fun! LoL.. If any of my group members see this they're going to scream at me... One stupid task was to count the number of wooden planks on the bridge. There were more than a thousand of them.
The trainers were all so nice. It was so sad to leave NACLI.
Reached home at 8+, there was a traffic jam.
Braces...
My dentist was on MC.
Persie's did the tightening for me.
Changed colour to light blue.
The musical in December is going to be great. Though I've not read through the script.
Do you think, a skinny person like me can dance?
I don't know.
"I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me."
Sec 2s are going to do a dance item as part of the musical. I"ll be involved in practices until Christmas. Sounds tough.
I can already hear a voice telling me, "You'll never know until you try. You can do it! Must stay positive!"
I seem to like hearing voices in my head -.- I had included them in my compo during the exam this year.
[Of course! Why didn't I think about this before??? LULU is ...... Stupid la haha.]
I'm not going for the camp. Kingdom settlers I think. Cos i'm going to Bangkok from the 1st to 4th of Dec. Those interested (The camp la, pig) :
When? 2-4 Dec
Where? LSBC
$$? free
no it's not free. wait long long eh.
How much? $35
It's the FIRST YPM camp! Be excited! BUt I can't. )= Thoguth I've never missed a single camp before.
Handbell preformance this Sunday, rehearsal on Saturday. Means I can't go for Youth Ablaze. Means I have to tell Ben or Christel. Means I need to ask them if need replacement. Means I have to look for one. Means if that peson cannot I must find someone else -.-

Youth Ablaze
Right.
Today was the first service. I was totally exhausted and couldn't really concentrate during cell discussion and Melvin's sermon. Almost fell asleep. He sort of gave an introduction to this new change and the name. Like Ablaze and being on fire for God. Yah wasn't very alert.
Cell photos taken at the end of the service. No wonder they asked us to wear the same thing/theme. I think my cell was the best. Formal clothes. My skirt's close to beige (sp?) and the other girls (in my cell) wore a dark colour. Eeeeeeks. Shu Kai and Ivan toh wore the wrong thing. Zach mentioned to Kai wad. I was suddenly involved in their conversation. -.-
Today's worship. Still can la. But the musicians can't see the worship leader. And there were too many songs. The mic i was holding- cover/sponge too smelly. Drums can't really hear. Other than that, yeah it's okay. All of us were late for cell by 15 minutes. 1at time mah, can't expect everything to be perfect.
[just ended my game of tic tac toe with Kevin. Who won? of course it's me!]
Not going for 1st/2nd service tomorrow, there's tuition. You must be wondering, how come holiday still have tuition. Ha, it's to sort of prepare for next year, and the teacher says there's a lot to cover. I've seen the textbooks. They're definitely thicker than the sec 2 books. My 3B shou3 ce4 still haveb't buy yet. I'm prepared to get killed.
wanhui says there'll be a sec 2 graduation thing. I kind of expected that.
I want a Zen Microphoto. i want i want.
stop dreaming, you know that your parents can't afford it. They can't even get you a phone line. You have to continue to share the handphone with your mother. This makes it terribly difficylt for your friends to contact you, like Lai Theng and Grace tried to this morning. Wake up, Joyce, wake up.
Homework is piling up. Chemistry, maths, music, chinese, english....
i need to sit down and complete them. look at everyone else.
I want to say this:
Yes, I feel offended. But it's just that I don't show it.

church friends
5 hours of library work made me half-dead yesterday.
cell bonding was the best man.
though we waited more than half an hour for everyone to arrive. haha.. we had dinner at KFC, and talked about Chinese names. Everyone had a good time laughing. We mixed up all our leftover food - chicken bones, cheese, ice, ketchup, chilli and mixed them all up. LOL. ha we can be THAT gross.
Clarissa and Andrew went to get stuff for games, while the rest of us went to cold storage. It was cold.
or maybe it's me. I had been feeling cold even sitting at the basketball court.
302 made it even worse. The game forfeits were terrible but since i never kena at all, it was fun! Yah we had a good time of bonding, together with Stacia's cell. Oh they're quite pathetic. Onlt Dorita, Bryan, Cheryl and Denise slept over. Everyone played card games and monkey until almost 4am. Crazy right. I was different la, very guai one. I tried to sleep but cannot sleep, too noisy. Wanhui said i kept scaring her. She's very funny la! And got freaked out by Johanes who was wearing white and standing outside the door. 302 was like a freezer.
morning we woke up and did QT. 1/2 hr or QT. we prayed for a number of things. Yep. It's nice to do QT as a group. Then we had carrot sticks for breakfast and went for 1st service. Surprise that nobody dosed off, because of the lack of sleep.
Today's the last time we have youth/teens service on a Sunday. Kinda sad eh.
Worship was great, but Chris and Boon said singers were too soft. hello? i almost lost my voice, lol. But it'll be different at the 4th level.
Jacelyn came today. I was glad to see her, but she doesn't seem to feel very herself. Just look at her blog. i dunno what else i should do about this, but to pray. And I still got my other friends to be busy with. Last night when I was praying, I almost cried. That- is not for you to know.
Cell lunch at Macs. We did gross things again. (mixing sauce with ice, what else did you expect?) Were ballooning around with Kara's cell. Those little kids balloons. Discussed what we're wearing, and it's formal clothes! Oh. My. Rabbit. That will mean spending $$$$ on clothes. For a suitable blouse and skirt. Skirt! I never wear skirts. Darn. Kara's cell so much nicer lor, they're wearing jeans and dunno what shirt.
Kara's cell and me the extra were standing outside Macs talking rubbish. What dog grow long ears, rabbit bark and suck the tortoise out of the shell. Errr? HahA.
I had intended to walk around heartland mall with Clarissa. (I'm really sorry!)
But then Charmaine and Jia Yan wanted to go to my house, and Jon Soh had to go for a haircut. So Ben Thia and Chong Yang ( a bit ----- lah) went with him, then went to my house. I pity my piano. And the neighbours. Thanks so someone, hah. Still think he very smart when can't even play scales.
This year's sec 2s rock. [stone][reminds me of persie]

:)
Lord, thank you for friends. Thank you once again, for people around me.
Didn't expect them to come and tag and give encouragement too.
Ah. I feel blessed.
I've learnt to become more confident when leading or speaking to a group after going for the peer lites' camp. They taught us a lot of stuff, including how to handle difficult students. Next year's peer lites are going to organise a class outing AND class CIP. meaning ours would be done for the year if we did it with the sec 1s.
Proposals. I/Cs. Budget, food, admin....
Sounds stressful.
Taking music next year.
I'm happier with the new worship roster.
Looks better. hah. The last time i was 'on duty', it was a disaster, man. ZAO XIA.
I have learnt that, warming up before practice and the service is very, very important. Or else... I dare not think about it.
I see....... a busy year ahead of me.....
even the holidays. my schedule is gradually getting packed.
(Interesting, both Chris and Jon signed in together. :p)
I cannot bear to split up with the class. We've been so together.
When I look back, it's actually very sad to see that we'll not be able to laugh, joke or be serious with certain things together.
It's the bond between us. Those times... When we made the teachers scream at us, when a whole lot would be sent outside the class for not doing homework (includig me), when we secretly ate in class, when we put our heart and soul into decorating the classroom for CNY and the safari, when we planned for the programme for the Child at Street 11 CIP, when we helped one another with the various happenings in our lives this year. Thinking of Wynn as the mermaid, getting 3rd for dunno what, raising the most money in the level for walk-a-jog, getting the cleanest class for a few weeks, preparing for Kar Mun's farewell party. Not forgetting Miss Ho, who was always scolding us when we wereout of our minds.
2c1. 2c1. haiz..
i love 2c1.
right.
get ready for more handbell practices. There's a performance on the 27 of Nov and 23 Dec. Be happy! okayy, yay i'm very happy.
looking forward to the day when i can see all my close friends --------, ----------- in the ----- -- ---. Better still, everyone I know.
Pamela and Rachel are very nice people. Ther were my group leaders for the camp.

angry or sad?
i am FOURTEEN this year.
FOURTEEN, 14
yet i'm getting whacked, caned, beaten up, scolded. i swear the entire block could actually hear all the commotion. people who got higher marks than me and still complain about being lousy, how are those who flunked supposed to feel? what about me? a total idiot who cannot do well for english, math, science, history..? going to take music next year, and i've no idea how on earth can that help me. i hate it when parents scold and instead of giving encouragement, end up getting beaten up. why are they always comparing me with the A class students? for some subjects, i have done a little more than expected. i'm getting the idea of myself being an idiot. it's hard to avoid the cane or beating. again, i'm 14. not 4. they want me to go to a university which is like, impossible, and get some degree when i can't even get a B3 for english maths and science.
if i'm wasting their money on tuition fees, then why are they still letting me have tuition?
right now, i'm left in a state of confusion. this, or that, or what.
the one who scolded me the F word isn't making my life easier either.
please, be more sensitive towards other people's feelings.
just because your results are good, that does not give you the
right to shoot vulgarities at your targets. you have absolutely no
idea how much you've hurt them
it's best not to hate someone. the feeling that the world hates you is, horrible. it'll be good if we all treated FL with a little more patience and be warmer, not colder. she can be quite nice.
life is unfair, but we still have live on. no one can change it except God. no matter how much effort i put in, those demanding parents of mine will never be satisfied. i'll continue to be caned till the age of 21. how's that.

hello2
as i was saying,
i'm angry with myself for those dumb results.
the rehearsal.. was like so ( what ?) lah! was one of the worst, ever.
give thanks was damn messy?
we seemed disorganised, lost, whatever...
hurrrrrrr
choir not bad lah, but i still prefer bells.
elizabeth, the pro. her fingers are like, whoa.
founder's day service at plmc. nice change.
i still can't see how the whole school including staff and guests
is going to squeeze in. unless they remove the walls.
impossible.
went to eat fries with ling ying. that person put so much salt.
then dunno where to walk.
"left or right?" "anywhere lah." "quick , upstairs or downstairs?!"
"you say where you want to go!" "hurry!" "no, you decide! anywhere also can!"
lol
ended up in poular. we were looking around, then went to look at the monopoly
and computer stuff.
and ling spotted mr fong.
verry funny ah. it was the 2 instructors.
HAHAHA
we tried to hide from them and see what they were doing.
ling waid they took a lot of scotch tape?
we wanted to go out of popular. they were paing money then.
"faster run before they see us!!"
unfortunately, uh....
so unlucky can. saw them at the escolator try and run again,
out of their sight.
ended up running out of heartland mall. like police and thief.
i need to buy rabbit food.
someone accompany me?
or by bunny will starve.
i'm angry with myself for those dumb results.
the rehearsal.. was like so ( what ?) lah! was one of the worst, ever.
give thanks was damn messy?
we seemed disorganised, lost, whatever...
hurrrrrrr
choir not bad lah, but i still prefer bells.
elizabeth, the pro. her fingers are like, whoa.
founder's day service at plmc. nice change.
i still can't see how the whole school including staff and guests
is going to squeeze in. unless they remove the walls.
impossible.
went to eat fries with ling ying. that person put so much salt.
then dunno where to walk.
"left or right?" "anywhere lah." "quick , upstairs or downstairs?!"
"you say where you want to go!" "hurry!" "no, you decide! anywhere also can!"
lol
ended up in poular. we were looking around, then went to look at the monopoly
and computer stuff.

hello
exams are over, yay.
I CANNOT TYPE PROPERLY.
COS I'M IN THE SCH LIBRARY.
anyway, my point is that the end time is coming. i think almos all Christians think so.
tsunami, hurricane, earthquake, dengue....
don't you think so?
and also people who claim that they are the Son of Man
in other words, false prophets. global warming is getting worse too.
perhaps. the time is near. near...
the unsaved have to be saved, soon, or we'll all regret not doing so.
man.. the horrors of hell.
maybe, God has prompted me to do it. they're stressing the importance in church,
and in my devotional book.
perhaps, perhaps
YPM service going to change from Sunday to Saturday, 4-9pm
Which makes life harder for me. Worship practices, CCA, dental appointments,
tuition......
more than a hundred things are going through my tiny lil' brain.
violin results
merit.
JUST three more marks to distinction!!!!
how can i not be angry?!
and piano
i'll talk later, bus is here.
to plmc.

bellers!
yesterday was the day.
played 'give thanks' and 'you are my all in all' twice in PLMC. they actually recorded our songs!
eeeeks! my hair was wuite messy, haha.
i saw miss ho there. and didn't know miss koh was a worship leader there.
i still prefer LSBC :)
we went to Pasir Ris Elias CC. dumped the bells, tables, scores, cusions, stands, skirttings in the ''storeroom''.
and changed in the 1st holding area. lunch at macs. had a good time tricking each other into thinking that something was happenning when there wasn't.
LOL.
back to the CC, and it was a different holding room. with a bunch of irritating freaks.
who kept annoying us and making lots of noise, while we were trying to study.
[hilary kept wanting to show off on the piano, even in their presence]
they went out, like after a looooooong time and we had the room to ourselves. they played games and i tried to study on the piano.
unsuccessfully.
for the same reason, hilary insisted on opening up the piano. i got a little pissed.
then into the small changing room for a quick nap.
we got scolded from mrs wong for holding the others up and being disorganized.
scary man. but when it comes to scolding individuals, *ahem*, i rather not say it here.
all of us were in a foul mood during dinner.
(there's seriously too much to say, i'll cut it short)
we were early for the thing, so sat backstage and played hand games. dunno who said we're very early. scared late mah, after the scolding.
good thing was-
SAW AARON AZIZ!!!!! haha.
melissa went mad over that.
it was one of the worse performances ever. but i think we didn't show any
shit i played wrong note kind of face.
the bus got all of us back to serangoon. i tried to get more people to go prataing with us.
no use lah. me, rachel, des, ling ying and hilary walked outside, past the school.
freaky things started to happen. we saw the handbell room lights on! looked carefully and guess what/who we saw. nothing! no human, at least. and it was strange, we always remember to turn off the lights. can't be the alumni.. orr someone would have spotted the lights on when they reached the school in the morning. neither could it switch itself on...
desiree went back in a taxi, which leaves the rest of us walking towards the prata shop. next thing we saw-- a pair of silver high heel shoes! no, they weren't spoiled.the bus stop was empty, except for the few of us, and we were like, ghost! and ran.
then, picked up a ngee ann poly ezlink card. rachel's parentswere going to sent it to the police i think. maybe the card belonged to someone who's -gulp- dead! riiiight.
today, lao shi forgot about ting xie! w00t.
oral changed to this friday. fish lah.
3 assignments due this week. D&T, IT, and art. lets hope that ms hazelin can take over art this friday. that'll be wonderful.i dunno how on earthj i'm going to complete these three.plus exams to juggle. somebody, kill me.
wanton mee for lunch. with sarah, jasmine nd joey. k lah they are nice people. unlike those in the room with us yesterday. and then we did maths at mac.
they went over to my house for a movie
i know! feeling guilty, wer're supposed to be studying.
i'm sleepy.

YOU MUST READ THIS
church is a nice place. lsbc in particular.
just saying hello to people makes you feel good.
there's newspapers. to read, obviously.
and there's the small room to study in.
sweets at the reception.
ah. and no, that's not some kind of poem.
i went there today. ( i went on tuesday, wednesday, thursday and today) saw the yuying gb girls again. they are nice people. nice and friendly. very soon i'm going to make friends with the whole brigade.
lol!
yah.. and they kept laughing and saying silly things. thankfully, while i was studying, they were quiet. almost. and when one of them is noisy, they would say,"oii, ren jia yao study lah!" and they start laughing. really, quite fun ppl . in my opinion, better than xinmin gb girls, from what i went through during sec 2 camp.
i overheard something. christel said she wanted to have 4 kids! and beatrice went for some party at sentosa. both were feeling tired. pearlyn said she wanted to get a job? something lke that. and was looking for ads in the papers.
you know what?
the last time i had fever, i had most of the symtoms of dengue fever.
i had the fever for almost a week.
my eyes were painful.
nauseous, but did not puke.
this spotty thing broke out. like rash.
i had totally no appetite.
felt very weak.
maybe i had dengue. but must thank God that nothing serious happened to my family. or else..
well i dare not even think about it. now what we really need is God's protection over Singapore. this is becoming like SARS. looks like sth must happen to our country. just when i thought we were lucky, protected against natural disasters, along came the dengue breakout. perhaps the End Times's coming. i can feel it. look at the news, man. hurricane katrina, typhoon in japan, plane crash in jarkata, fever in singapore, tsunami just the end of last year... don't you think God is working on something? to destroy the earth...?
time is running out. repent, accept Christ as your Lord and Saviour. He died so that you can have eternal life-- life after death. you might have heard this many times, and now you're seeing it at my blog. this means only one thing. a confirmation that it's time to turn to God. i don't mean to insult anyone here. remember the seventh month? when people were terrified of this and that? 'hungry ghosts'? think about it. Christians didn't do anything, life went on normally. no 'offerings' were made. nothing strange or bad happened. we didn't follow those rules like when someone calls you, don't turn around.. or be home before dark. nothing! we weren't scared scared of it! we had God's assurance, that those traditions were not going to affect us, and there was nothing to be afraid of. of course nothing happened.
when you accept Christ, all you need to do is pray. i'll advice you to look for someone to help. pray, i'ts simple. pray with a willing heart. no need for any ceremony or anything. when you ask for forgiveness, God will forgive, just make sure you don't make the same mistake again. you don't have to ask God to punish you for sinning, or expect a disease to strike, and say later that it's your punishment. no, our Father isn't that -well- cruel, he won't do something like that.
if you are wondering, like, what proof do i have to show that God is real, i have a few.
(this sounds stupid). i prayed for God to control my shit before. and that happened a few times. once, in malacca, i couldn't find a toilet and it was like an "emergency case". i prayed, and believed, and God helped me.
many years ago, when i was just born, my parents brought me to this 'master tan' thing, to make predictions, or i-dunno-just-what-it-is. he cursed me, saying that i'll be coughing for many years, and many bad things about me. true enough, i coughed for that few years of my life.this was recorded in a book. then my parents became Christians, some people from the church came over. they prayed over that record or curses and idols, them, and my cough stopped miraculously. there.
there's this healing room thing in my church, those who needed to be healed of some sicknese went there, they were prayed for. Doctor Jesus healed, they were alright. it's truem and it's not black magic.

WOW. i evangelised at my blog. wonderful. i wanted to just make and ordinary entry, talking about what i did, and how i felt. but i just wonder if this would work. not many ppl come here. at least i make an attempt to get ppl saved, not spend my time typing this out on neopets. hey, it's not easy to even think of something which might help bring more people into the kingdom of God. everyone's stubborn, or stick to their own belief of " i believe that there is me, myself and i", or "there is no God," so it would be good if a non-Christian comes here and turns to Christ. all credits to the Lord, He helped me type this.
interesting, how God can change your mood throgh a blog. i was just posting angry thoughts in another more private journal/diary/blog. and thought maybe just update this one in a happier tone. and BOOM. i don't remember typing so much in two months. (:
exams are drawing nearer each day. we should use whatever time is left to study and then it's over, and pllaaaaaaaaaaaayy!
lol. see ya in a few days ;)
