titled untitled

Dear God I must confess
That sometimes You seem far away
And sometimes I forget about
how I stand because of grace
But Lord, there's been a change in me
A change I hope will stay
For this is my prayer today:

Jesus I am coming here today
I'm leaving all I have behind
To kneel right at Your place
I'm giving all I am to You
To honour You in all I do
I'm returning to be where You want me to

Take your place, O Lord, take Your place
Be Lord of my life once again
Let your will be done, let Your will be done
Reign in my life once again

Jesus I am coming here today
I'm letting go of all my plans
To trust and lean on You
I'm seeking now for more of You
To know You and to learn from You
I'm running to be where You want me to

Lord draw me near to where You are
Lead me to Your holy presence
I don't want to be kept afar, Lord
Draw me near
Come reign in this life once again

Take Your place, O Lord, take Your place
Be Lord of my life once again
Let Your will be done, let Your will be done
Reign in my life once again
Reign in my life once again

My walk with God is a little dry... this whole song just fits so perfectly.
I so need Him in my life.

I'm glad I went for the service last Sunday, sermon was good.
Almost the whole thing related to me. And I think God spoke through that. A bit.

I have some thank yous to make here, they made my day despite the drama both during and after school today:
Lai Theng (for all that advice and kind words), Simon (the msn convo was v reassuring), Sara and Melody (for just being there), Sharon Pei Qi and Hannah (who made all the difference), the usual sec 4 handbellers Man Ling Hui Ling Ling Ying and Ethel (who never fail to make me laugh), Xi Ying and Fiona, and of course my dear partner Sheila...

Do not judge, or you too will be judged. For in the same way you judge others, you will be judged, and with the measure you use, it will be measured to you.
Matthew 7:1-2

I can't seem to memorise this verse! While some people can recite it like the national pledge!
Why why why! That's a simple reminder for us not to judge, so it's important to memorise it.

And the answer to Rastus' dumb question in the previous post is..
Q: what do you get when you squash a bee?
A: Beauty. cos' beauty lies in the eyes hands of the bee-holder (beholder)

That's ULTRA lame.

uh, i think we're in the same boat...
