happy BELATED birthdays, Joe (cell leader, 21st June)
and Joey! (horse, 28th June)
Their names are so alike right! Hahaha!
Ok. I know you all are waiting for photos. 4c2 is waiting for the Incineration Plant class photo. The rest of the photos from that day can be found here, if anyone's interested.
Haha. You girls can start saving the pics... note that the right click is disabled here hor.And Ms Loh's lit notes on the whiteboardSome O'lvl music girls are waiting for our top secret photos which obviously cannot be put up here... ask me for them on MSN or something. haha.
BFC is waiting for photos too.
These are all I've got. The rest is with Wan Hui! And the one below is from Chill Out, with Jacelyn and Chui Laam(?) missing from the pic.Had a good time of games, praise and worship, sermon by Pst Thomas, dinner at Chill Out yesterday.
Our cell, Beautiful Feet, also known as team L, got 2nd runner up!
Not bad leh! I couldn't believe it. We actually won something. Haha
We're a bunch of enthusiastic youths! =D
After the light dinner I went for an early supper with the girls. Prata! lols.
The day before yesterday, Friday, the teachers very cleverly avoided a Youth Day celebration.. It was replaced with the jogathon/walk-a-jog at East Coast Park.
Participants = Mass Runners + Competitive Runners = Whole school.Route was 3.5km. God always and never fails to provide us with good weather for school outdoor events. Haha.
Although MANY of us were secretly hoping it would rain.
I happened to fall in the competitive runners category...
I thought that 3.5km was really looooooooooonnnnnnnnnnnnnnnggggggggggggggggggggggggggg and so I prayed for a long time and sang We'll Be Faithful over and over again in my head as I jogged the entire route. Slowly.
Wanted to conserve my energy for the last km.
But I didn't know exactly how much I'd jogged until 2 girls shouted "400m more!"
I even thought they were kidding... until I saw the "finish" banner.
Because I jogged too slowly, and I started off at the back, and I only sprinted when the banner came into sight this is my position ----> 23/100.
3 more only leh! Then can get trophy! I should have started at the front!
And jogged faster! And stop thinking that there's still a long way to go!
Cos' at the end of the route it actually felt like it was less than 2.4km, darn.
Still, thank You Jesus for placing me within the top 25... this proves that even ppl from performing arts groups who play music all day under air-con (handbells) can run.
Not just those from uniformed or sports groups.
I'm also aware that some from the former and latter (lol) ran slowly on purpose...
Though I don't see what their objective is.
My Chinese oral is on Thursday, and the 'best' thing is I'm the last candidate of the day.
