Term Exams

I spent my Sunday doing Chinese, Chinese and more Chinese... I migrated to the void deck at blk 231 (complete with the 'fragrance' of the rubbish chute at odd intervals) in the afternoon and stuck myself there until dark, and all I did was teng ye xian sheng, zui hou de niu che shui, a bit of bie li de gu shi and basically that's it. Even so, I have no idea how much of it got into my head.

Monday: GP and Chinese papers

A short extract of zui hou de niu che shui came out for Chinese (: Ahh and dozed off during that paper. Naturally. That's CHINESE yo!

I was late for school because I missed the 6.32am train. I thought I would have to go for DC but no, didn't get one (: There were 2.5 LONG rows of latecomers standing outside the hall and LT1. It was 1.5 when I arrived at that corridor. I tried hard to suppress my amusement.
School gave the entire staff and student body an apple. They can be so cute sometimes.

Tuesday: H1 Maths paper

I was one of the affected ones whose GC (graphic calculator) applications got cleared completely, all except for finance when what we needed was CONICS and not finance. The teacher said we're supposed to upgrade our GCs and the apps got cleared because we did not upgrade it. wth?? My whole class didn't even know about it!

Piano lesson was crap because I couldn't remember most of my theory stuff like figured bass and my teacher almost scolded me -.-

Wednesday: H2 Geog, H2 Econs

The killers.
I only had 2.5 hours of sleep the night before (morning actually). I wrote out of point for econs and I made up my own facts for geog. Raindrops the size of bullets were heard crashing down the badminton hall after our econs exam scripts were collected. All we could do was sit and stare in disbelief. All of us got our share of the rain while making our way back to the main building from the sports complex. That sheltered walkway is useless.

I saw this SR guy wearing a Pegasus shirt and thought, what is an SRJCian doing at buona vista?? It turned out to be Jerome, who said he went to NUS for some checkup. I had company from BV all the way back to home.. it was quite an honour. I mean, how often do your friends walk you home man! Especially when it's not 'on the way'.

I just had to misplace my DNA and genomics notes ONE DAY before the bio paper. How very fortunate.

Then at night, horse and I mugged from 10pm all the way till 5am at macs. Interesting things happened. We got free food and drinks (medium coke and large fries) from her secret admirer.

Thursday: H2 Biology

I reached Kovan station, walked to my usual spot and saw an AC guy. Ang Ren?? But he's a Punggol-er! He said Ken was in front, a few doors away and true enough I saw his black and white adidas bag before spotting him. I dunno what the Punggol and Hougang guys were doing at Kovan. The train arrived seconds after, and we boarded the train BUT Ren walked out of the train after walking in cos' he thought Ken was still outside. The train door closed on Ren just when he realised Ken was inside. -.- Ken got down at Serangoon and they met on the next train I think, but they made it to school on time because they cabbed there. The two of them are jokers man.

Assembly was a joke too. The front of the hall was almost empty with only a few students seated because the first paper of the day was bio, and well that's where the arts classes sit. The FTs of the arts classes were laughing at their classes' attendance.

I almost fell asleep during the paper. And my table was shaking like crazy.

Went back to PL with Hil and Pris Tay to collect Hil's SGC and say hi to the teachers... (Ms Kok and Ms Liang are so cute!!) Some juniors asked me why we're there and I simply said "my house mah, cannot is it?" LOL. We were there for quite awhile and got curious stares from the kids -.- yeah, we're in different school uniforms, but hey I was carrying a PL jacket! Had lunch there as well, Mrs Soh asked if we missed the food from PL. Fact is, YES. It's sooooo cheap. I ate a plate of rice with fried fish, beansprouts, cabbage and potato with curry and it cost only $2. That was a huge portion, mind you. You'll never see this in AC. $2 for so much.
