B) Tag 8 people to do this quiz & those who are tagged cannot refuse. These people must state who they were tagged by & cannot tag the person whom they were tagged by.Continue this game by sending it to other people.
#1 If your lover betrayed you, what will your reaction be?
I'll just feel damn pissed but will eventually learn to forgive and forget..maybe in a year or longer. (Claire take note. HAHA jkjk.)
#2 If you can have a dream to come true, what would it be?
"Tell the world that Jesus lives" - for all to come to know Christ!
#3 What will your dream wedding be like?
I don't even think I'll get married...
#4 Will you rather have a loving girl/boyfriend and little friends, or no girl/guy to love you yet many friends?
I refuse to give an answer
#5 What if one day you realised that the person you love turns out to be different from whom you think he/she is?
Lol. I won't know how to react.
#6 Which is more blessed, loving someone or being loved by someone?
Being loved (:
#7 Fries or potato chips?
BOTH!
#8 Longest relationship?
Not applicable. Almost got into one, that was the only one.
#9 Is there anything that has made you unhappy these days?
hmmm... just rather emo these days =/ it should be pms. should be.
#10 What do you want most in life?
Can I modify the question? What do I want most in life within the next five years? Complete or at least start on diploma (ABRSM piano), get into NTU accountancy, serve in a ministry in church
#11 Do you like being tagged?
Tagged in what sense? Visitors' tags on the tagboard or friends 'tagging' me to do this kinda thing?
#12 How do you see yourself in ten years' time?
Haven't exactly thought about that yet..!
#13 Who is currently the most important person to you?
Who = singular. God (though He's not a person) will always be the most important, not just currently. As for the person... well.
#14 What kind of person do you think the person who tagged you is?
I feel at a loss when I see her battling with her eczema, it's like there's nothing I can do but pray. Seeing here in this state makes my heart ache!! hope it doesn't sound too cheesy. But she is a strong girl (:
#15 Would you rather be single and rich or married but poor?
Married but poor. Money can always be earned. But no amount of cash can buy you love.
#16 What's the first thing you do every morning?
Check my handphone for the time.
#17 Would you give all in a relationship?
Some sacrifices will have to be made, but I think just know where to draw the line lor.
#18 Who would you consider your best friend in your current occupation?
I don't know man. "Jesus, You are my best friend. You will always be. Nothing will ever change that!"
#19 What type of friends do you like?
Loving friends. For the definition of 'love', please check 1 Corinthians if i'm not wrong.
#20 How many questions have you changed?
I didn't even know that they can be changed!! I'm just like XY, never read instructions. LOL.

I'm not gonna tag anyone (:

Clique Outing
Something for my darling Loo Yee!!! Also known as Jacelyn! Can see the pic or not?I remember telling a few people about how my entire family would be going to Malaysia without me on the enCOre/Vesak day weekend. That trip got postponed. They're going tomorrow instead, and I think they'll be back late on Sunday night. Yes, they're going. I'm staying behind because
- There's CO practice. I'm already missing next week's prac, which happens to be the last practice before the term exams. And if I don't turn up, there'll be 2 erhu players left now that we don't have the J2s with us. Only 2.
- Youth Ablaze. One of the rare chances for me to attend youth service since there's no combined practice tomorrow, I don't want to miss it.
- Maths tuition on Sunday.
- Cell is going for main service together on Sunday.
OLM where are you?!
--
Keating's song has been stuck in my head for the whole day, it's no wonder that I kept playing it on the piano. Ah it makes me emo too. I wonder why.
I went over to Charmaine's house yesterday, we abandoned our plan to go to Bishan because Hilary was sick and I overslept. Char's house is TOO comfy for work. Productivity level was less than 50%! I played with her dog, her rabbit, her stuff in her room, and just lazed around for almost the whole day. I only started focusing during the last 2 hours or so. Oh great job with the bubble tea Char!! Not bad for a first attempt!
Today Horse and I had math tuition at Macs. That Ryan injured his leg again -.-
Met up with the clique in the afternoon!! Planning to meet up has never been easier, everyone's like 'ok can make it'! Not like the usual 'cannot make it', 'see first', 'dunno' kind of annoying replies that you see each time you try to organise a group outing. Well DUH, being close friends they won't give that kind of answer!
So we went to AMK hub -.- Haha and we caught up with one another at Mos Burger.. All 6 of us are in different JCs and polys >.< (i typed more stuff here but it keeps disappearing)
Friend: calls your parents by mr. and mrs.
Best friend: calls your parents dad and mom.
(not true. my parents are known as 'uncle' and 'auntie' to all my friends!)
Friend: has never seen you cry
Best Friend: has always had the best shoulder to cry on
(yes. omg. this is SUPER true. all who have seen me cry are indeed my best friends. or my very very close friends.)
Friend: never asks for anything to eat or drink
Best friend: opens the fridge and makes herself at home
(how about, everyone's so busy we barely have time to visit each other)
Friend: asks you to write down your number.
Best friend : they ask you for their number ( cuz they can't remember it)
(more like i'm the one who can't remember their numbers!)
Friend: borrows your stuff for a few days then gives it back
Best friend: has a closet full of your stuff
(closet..not really. but we don't return their items! e.g. piano scores and books ;) )
Friend: only knows a few things about you
Best friend: could write a biography on your life
=)
Friend: will leave you behind if that is what the crowd is doing
Best friend: will always go with you
(double =) )

Okay, I mugged with Chelsie today from 10 plus to 1 plus, went for lunch, came back at 2 plus, she went off, I mugged (but my thoughts kept straying... straying to??), Sara came at almost 5, Hilary and her friend Michael came after, he left at 6 plus, the rest of us went for dinner (only Hil ate), Sara went off, we got back to the library, SAT AT A TABLE AFTER BEING ON THE FLOOR FOR SO MANY DAMN HOURS, then library closed. The end.
What I covered:
Econs - Price ceiling, price floor
Geog - Block mountains, mid-oceanic ridges, case studies of Iceland and the Mid-Atlantic Ridge, started on convergent plate boundaries, oceanic trenches
Chinese - Read one page of 别离的故事,covered 6 oral topics?
Seems like a lot but it actually isn't...I just wonder how much of it actually got processed. I wonder. There's still so much that needs to be done, ahhh I haven't touch my holiday assignments. Darn. Darn. Darn.
Gonna be at the library before 10am tomorrow to join in the mass run to the 3rd or 4th floor to secure a table. But then again, the guys will all run faster, so I may not get a table.

Maybe I should glue myself to the void deck and sit there from morning till night, returning home only for meals eh.. Sounds good?
I went back to PL to collect my SGC, that's when I saw Hillary :D
Then I went for SP open house with Pearlyn, and bleh there's really nothing to 'open house' about. Quite disappointing.. The turnout was rather pathetic too.
Met Daniel for awhile cos he missed me. haha.
Accompanied Sara to the library where she got her books returned, then we went to her studio where it's like her base class. All the arty farty stuff inside reminded me of Mr Leow (who tortured us poor sec 2 girls and got a number of parents' complain letters LOL).
Wasted trip to AC because Mr F's pigeonhole was missing!! The pigeons migrated with their hole ... and we were supposed to collect some compre or compo from there! I swear it I did look properly, I scanned through EVERY pigeonhole from A to G. His name starts with an A and his surname's F. Seriously...waste time, waste money!
Geog day!
The colours look a bit exaggerated, it's not that red actually. Made a slight improvement.. I can WRITE! And PLAY THE PIANO, I brushed up on Alla Turca today =)Today's (yesterday's) physical geog repeat lecture was for those who couldn't make it for lecture last week. Only 2 rows out of the entire LT6 was occupied. Ang Ren and I were the only ones from our geog classs. Mr L was being crappy as usual... I mean, when there's a tsunami, you "tie yourself to a tree"??! Mind you, I quote that from our lecture notes.
I'm glad I actually stayed for human geog in the afternoon although I was the ONLY ONE from my geog class. Ren had training.. Mdm summarised our term 1 and 2 lectures (quick revision), and gave us essay outlines for some essay questions. I got some doubts cleared in the process.

crying out loud
Someone's making a weird noise outside and it's a female voice. It's creepy.
About twelve hours ago, I cried out AGAIN because I scalded myself with boiling water..
Janet and Sheena very kindly went to get the cream for burns while I continued to freaked out in the cafe, then they came back and Sheena helped apply that cream for me (ex-StJohn girl). It was stinging and burning, I don't know how else to describe the pain. It was so bad, I buried my face in Lay Cheng's shoulder, and wet her shirt with tears while Sheena worked on my right hand. Whoops. And then I tried to bear with the pain but it felt worse, and well...my eyes were red from further crying. Yikes. But it's many times better at the moment, although right now there's a scar on my hand and it still hurts. I can't hold a pen, I can't hold my erhu bow, I havent tried holding a toothbrush, I can't apply any pressure on the scarred area. I can move my fingers, though, hallelujah!
People should not let Irvin do first aid because during the break for combined practice (I obviously didn't play due to the pathetic state of my stiff and stinging hand), he almost helped me put some lotion from the first aid kit. ALMOST, because he asked Grace,
"How to put ah? Rub arh?"
I almost jumped out of the chair la. In the end Sheena did it for me again.

Talk to my hand."
还有, 我是故意把字放大的,要不然你们读者会吵着说这里的字太小,什么都读不到。哈,哈。

ACCO Camp 2008
ANYWAY yea Ang Ren, who was sitting in between Tong and I, didn't come for yesterday's lecture as well and he managed to escape from being questioned by sir in front of the whole lecture group. I think that's just not fair man!!
Monday (26/5) marked the first day of our CCA camp, it was mostly planned and executed by 4 key J1s, namely Fu En, Pei Yan, Irvin and Lukas. They deserve a pat on their shoulders =)
Below: Peiyan!
and 'gambling den'
One thing I don't understand, though, is why they made me the major group leader for 1 out of the 4 groups (otherwise known as 'whole group leader'. Each 'whole group' is further divided into 2 groups). I was at a loss during ice breakers and just threw out any game I could think of (THANKS SO MUCH TO BFC HAHAH but we didn't play bob).
The games in the afternoon were good.. They included an extremely modified '"dog and bone" which had items like grapes sweets pingpongballs BOTTLECAP cardboard oranges detergent starch and whatnot; captain's ball using water bombs (my idea, tyty LOL); and ultimate frisbee (i was super ON for this at first then got tired and just stood around, haha). But the whole thing was draining cos' there was a lot of running around.
Celebrated birthdays during break

As for the section dinner, I think the whole CO ended up going to Holland V? We kinda owned the bus.

Xuanyue and percussion (w/o peiyan) was at Crystal Jade where the 16 of us were separated into J1s and J2s, with the exception of Michael who was with the j2 table and Meiqi at the J1 table. Talk about bonding.Night trail was when we had to get ourselves blindfolded and one of the key camp planners would lead us around... My group got Fu En and gosh this guy is terrible. Halfway through the game he separated all of us and led us one by one to different parts of the canteen to stone there, blindfolded, for what seemed like forever. I was at this ulu part of the canteen but I could hear everyone talking loudly (still blindfolded) or knocking into tables and chairs o.O. The noise faded and I guessed I was LEFT BEHIND so I just removed the damn blindfold and yes I was right. FuEn was leading the group AWAY from the canteen, he didn't realise he forgot me until I walked towards him and the blind mice. To cut the long story short, I ended up being with Lukas' group and leading them (first was Ianthe, then Alyssa) to the last 'station'. Peiyan was like "ehh, how come you're leading???" Haha FuEn left me behind whattt.
My legs were breaking and I had to drag myself home, standing throughout the 1-hour journey.
Today I missed part of the so-called Amazing race because I went for geog lecture, as you'd probably know by now. After the lecture Matthieu and Jarron (same lecture group) went to the GYM -.- but I went to look for the rest and met up with my group at SCH, then joined them for the rest of the activity where we went to the library@esplanade, Rocher Centre, and Chinatown Point. We decided not to go to Bras Basah. Fuen was leading the group again. Lay Cheng and I were saying that guys walk SUPER fast, their normal speed is like our jogging speed? Most of the time it was Shern^2, Xuan Han, Fu En and Michael walking at the front, Cheng and I some distance away, then Shun Qi and Elliot even further back.
Thankfully, we didn't break camp at NIGHT. I could go for my piano lesson which starts at 6pm at Kovan.
Oh and yes I managed to hammer JunY and the other guy who claimed to be Alyssa's brother.
Just wanna thank everyone who contributed to this camp (uhh..not exactly a camp actually) in one way or another to make it a success.
I think I haven't mentioned this.
My form teacher made me the class treasurer and coincidentally, I MISS DOING POA so I shall start using T-accounts, the accounting for clubs and societies way of accounting for the class. Current class fund is zero. Oh man.
And being maths rep isn't exactly easy since my math class is made up of people from 7 different classes, which makes distribution of notes and collecting of money difficult. What's worse now is that the class doesn't have chapter 6 notes, the printing auntie doesn't have chapter 6 notes, it's the holidays and the photocopy shop is closed (duh), and I can't get sir to lend me an empty copy of the chapter 6 notes so that I can get it copied somewhere else. I wasn't even aware that I had to collect that set of notes since we're still lagging at chapter 5. zzzz
(I'm going for SP open house with Shung, yay!)

Reflections
Funny..
How at times we only turn to God when we get desperate.
How we say "hold on" and "wait" all the time when He calls us ever so gently, when all He wants is a little bit of our time.
How we want our requests to be processed immediately when we ourselves do not even give the King what He rightfully deserves.
No, not "we". It's "I", it's "me".
I am determined not to turn out as described.
I express myself through songs a lot. Maybe that's why I fell I belong to the worship team though I've already stepped down... Anyway for Youth Ablaze yesterday I kinda sung this song to the Lord, silently, in my heart. It was the first song that came to mind in response to the service. (the service which coincidentally featured Pastor Glenn yet again with the same stories and verses used when preaching in our chapel)
All that I am
All that I have
I lay them down before You, O Lord
All my regrets
All my acclaim
The joy and the pain
I'm making them Yours
Lord I offer my life to You
Everything I've been through
Use it for Your glory
Lord, I offer my days to You
Lifting my praise to You
As a pleasing sacrifice
Lord I offer You my life
Things in the past
Things yet unseen
Wishes and dreams that are yet to come true
All of my hopes
All of my plans
My heart and my hands are lifted to You
My mum wanted to go for some Popular sale at Expo today.. So my whole family went there and wow it was like no other. Typical Singaporean, getting so excited over a sale -.- There was food expo just next door and a Robinson's sale not very far away. But darn it, due to time constraints, we were not able to roam to the other halls =( I feel like going back there again to get the $12.90 earphones (buy one get one free. I lost my Creative ones) and the 4GB Imation thumbdrive (though only 1000 sets available) and more stationery to facilitate my studying!!
All I need is money. Haha. By the way, the cup corn there rocks.
Tell me about it. Tell me why. Tell me why I miss you so much. (I think the reason is obvious... without you, my dear charger, I wont be able to charge my camera battery and I cant camwhore!! Ok, I'm kidding, I am. It's not a just black electrical appliance I'm missing.)

My camera charger is nowhere to be found. I last used it the night before Fun-O-Rama.
--> I can't charge my camera battery
My phone cables (from both N73 and 6somethingsomething) have vanished.
--> I can't upload photos
--> Sorry my dear friend that means I can't type the poem out for you!!!
It seems like I always forgo my sleep in attempt to complete assignments. At least one sleepless night (more like morning) per week.. It's becoming the norm now. Yet I miraculously manage to stay awake and pay attention in school.
Last Friday or Thursday after CO, I reached the platform of BV station... I turned right and guess who I saw. Our DM, LOL. Who happens to be my physical geog tutor.. I'm not sure if he saw me heading towards the opposite direction upon realisation that he's there. (scared get caught for skirt or something) Anyway I'm glad I walked the other way cos' JunYuan and his friend was there, and omg they're such nice people to talk to... Well at least I had company till Chinatown station that night.
Went to support the netball finals against our green friends on Friday... It was then that I made Natalie (classmate) my new idol. Haha. She's a fantastic goal-shooter.. We were going to win. AC was going to win. Until the last minute. We lost to them by a mere goal, so it was 50-51.. Nig told me that the spectators at his side were all hurling vulgarities at the umpire (tsk). As for me, it was more of tears.. A very emotional moment for both the AC netballers and some, if not most of us, in blue and white uniform. Anyway I'm glad I went there to support Nat.
After that Ian Yang, Sheena, Nigel and I cabbed back to school.
Who can forget enCOre?? I'm so grateful for the support from the OLM-ers Fiona, Hilary, Jia Yan, Xi Ying, ISTIMEWAs Beatrice, Joe, Jacelyn, Wan Hui, Joshua, and of course the AC friends Claire, Pei Hoon and Matthew. I know that they didn't just come for the music.. and omg the bouquet from Jace and the OLM-ers was utterly sweet okay, my heart melted before Matthew's chocolates did.

I met Janet in the morning to go have brunch at Holland Drive, then got fed up waiting for bus so we cabbed to school ($3).. only to find the bus right behind the cab -_- Wth right.
Basically the entire day was spent backstage, that narrow passageway behind the stage. I was trotting there around during our free time (i.e. when we were not rehearsing...). They didn't get a practice room booked for us like PL did for Symphony of Praise in 2006.

I got blisters from the court shoes -.- Janet's gave her problems too.
The actual performance was not bad =) Well at least I thought it was fine. The MEP students will have a lot to complaining about, especially for Claire who keeps criticising the pitching.
Apart from a few obvious errors (dizi solo was absent for yaozu; for xishuangbanna, the harp's glissando didn't end properly + conductor gave unclear signal = messed up and disrupted orchestral entrance to the first part of the first movement; can't remember which piece.. the harp's arpeggios was about 1 bar slow; everyone pretty much played the last encore piece lightheartedly. timpani had missing beats, xuanye's bowings were all over the place, etc), I think the audience enjoyed the concert? Conductor was being funny during the encore la.. the way he tried to 'conduct' the audience, getting them to clap loudly during the forte parts and softly during the piano parts -.- I was trying to hold back my laughter for the 2 encore pieces cos' well, it was both funny and fun!
I will miss the J2s though we didn't exactly bond as much as the other sections did...
Of course, this performance is nothing like the handbell ones..
I can't back my statement up with a relevant explanation. After all, I'm an ISFJ. It's just the PL spirit that's etched inside me. SCH without the bells this year gave me an odd and empty feeling.
Movie, anyone? Got a craving for salted popcorn -.-

Counting down to enCOre
20th to Simon,
17th to Sophia and Jessica =)
Instead of constantly lamenting about how there's so much work to be done, I decided to just shut up, stop complaining and hurry up and get started on my work. That includes planning my ever-so-tight schedule (study for this, study for that, work on project, ....). Next week is going to be a real hectic week, especially for the CO.
We're having practice every day, 7 days a week, you see.On top of that, there's Chinese oral (class test) tomorrow, econs test on Tues, GP package test on Thurs, GP independent learning assignment/project due on Fri.. My weekend will be dedicated solely to CO, which means there's totally no time to do the recording for 10 Chinese oral passages and the lame ecconect (some econs thing) economic analysis and summaries which are both due on Monday and Tues respectively (week after enCOre).
Oh man I can't imagine life without the J2s in CO... I know they don't want to step down, but I don't think they have a choice on this.
I ran for my 2.4 on Thursday.. and I'm so gonna re-run it. It was most unfortunate that that day had to mark the start of yet another cycle. I did not meet my personal target =(
The whole of 1AA3 is so gonna get into deep shit tomorrow. Long story man. If I get another DC, it'll mean 1 demerit point for me.

tuned erhu and started practicing till either 1230 or 1am, fell asleep -.-, got up to keep the instrument, went downstairs to pack my bag and now I'm here doing redundant stuff like blogging about what I've been up to -___- I wanna study geog but I can't, there's 2.4km run and I need the sleep. zzz I'll just study in the train then. Or fall asleep standing up.
Speaking of train.
This morning when the train stopped at Buona Vista, the train door at the carriage I was at did not open. Okay it did open but only a by a few centimeters. We couldn't possibly pry it open right. There were about 5 other acsians and we had to walk to another door, which almost closed on me since I was the last one to get out.
I think I'll reply the tags tomorrow. I'm off to brush my teeth =) HAPPY BIRTHDAY SOHPIA !!!!!!!!

"Memories' closet"
Congrats to Man Ling too, for getting through the interviews for the BA thing!
I was sending Claire some photos from last year's Japan trip, since she was in MG strings and she was there as well. WE WERE SO NEAR, YET SO FAR. lol. So anyway as I was browsing through the photos, almost everything from the photos from the barker camera to my own camera, there came the influx of memories... again. I miss the trip so much =( I miss the fun times with my juniors and own batch mates, everything from SYF

to Kaleidescope
to Japan tripIn short, I miss being in PL. 4c2 2007, clique, handbell choir, o level music class of 2007, peer lites of 2006.. Sheesh.
And no, I don't own any banana (somehow this sounds wrong), but there's a banana tree planted outside my house with large bananas growing there :D
Weeeee I just completed my econs summaries and economic analysis (which is crap) of 2 newspaper articles... AND a 300-word letter of explanation for my late submission -_- waste 5 pages of paper and ink.
ACJC Chinese Orchestra presents...
enCOre
18 May, Sunday
(next day is vesak day)
7.30pm
Singapore Conference Hall
$12
It's cheap for an AC-based concert ok. If you fall asleep, it's because 1) you dunno how to appreciate Chinese music, or 2) the music is SO nice that it makes you sleep. Tickets available from any CO member. i.e. me. Your support is very much appreciated.
I will not be performing for the ensemble item. Only for the pieces with the main orchestra.

The train experience
I don't intend to sleep either. I completed my GP essay on education, and I'm reading some article for econs which I'm supposed to summarise but I think I can't do it on time.. I'll just face the shit from Mdm. Aaahhhhhh. I didn't even study for my geog test. I'm so screwed.
Can't sleep because there'll be the super-zombie effect when I wake up after an hour or so. Jia Yan will know what I'm talking about =) Xi Ying will know too, I think.
Since I'm awake, I'll talk about what I've been planning to talk about. Type, to be exact. It's the MRT experience.
Being a commuter on trains run by companies SMRT and SBS Transit, I wanna comment on the comfort level of the trains. Trains on the NEL (by SBS) have wider seats allow for more personal space. That's good. HOWEVER, when it comes to ventilation, SMRT trains win hands-down. Sitting in an NEL train is fine, one can still feel the cool air. But standing wise, it's quite terrible. It can get warm unless you're standing in between two carriages where the ground isn't 100% flat. After a long walk past the construction site towards the station near the school under the glaring heat of the sun, I'm likely to start perspiring. Climate change is pushing temperatures up so it's getting worse. What I'd like after the daunting walk would be some air-con right? Yes, I get that when I board the train, the SMRT train. Something which is lacking in SBS trains.
Having to stand daily for a total of more than an hour on trains has enabled me to compare the ventilation level of the two trains. (What a thing to do.. ) During peak hours (I happen to always travel during peak hours), the train can get really packed and it's like the mass and rapid transit of people, a train full of sardines... literally. SMELLING like sardines, some people. I do get unlucky sometimes and stand behind or near people with terrible body odour, or they just seem to have this unpleasant smell which leaves me gasping for fresh air especially when travelling on SBS trains. My point is that SBS trains could improve on the ventilation level for standing commuters. Not just the ones sitting.
One other annoying thing which happens on trains is when people lean on the poles when it's crowded. It's crowded, so there are a lot of people standing around, most will want to hold on to the pole or the handle thing right? Some pest just has to lean on the pole so the rest standing around the pole cannot hold on to it. That really gets me frowning. I tend to lose my balance when traveling on SMRT trains. There's something about their tracks that makes the whole ride bumpy. So I'd usually hold the metal bars unless I'm nowhere near it, or an inconsiderate person (who is probably unaware of the inconvenience caused by his/her action) is leaning on it.
Since I spend so much time traveling by train daily, I've more or less gotten used to the shakiness and learned how to balance properly. One method which has aided my balance is to read something and have my eyes glued to the paper while standing in the train. It helps divert my attention to whatever I'm reading, instead of thinking that I'm gonna fall.
Regarding the frequency of trains during peak hours, well.. SMRT should increase it in the morning. Evenings and late afternoons are fine. SBS should just increase their frequencies both in the morning and and evening. And late afternoon. The crowd is badddd, with most people boarding at Outram Park and Dhoby Ghaut. It takes between 5 to 8 minutes for a train to come and on some mornings I miss it by a few seconds which kinda means GG for me. I can say hello to DC or run from Buona Vista MRT station and end up sweating buckets.
There's this video thing which is being played on repeat mode on trains.. I've watched it so many times, I'm sick of it. Now I refuse to look at it. It's about the big black bag being the bomb and all of them evacuating the train because the lady informed the staff about the bag... -.-
I better go pack my bag and prepare for school now. Wish me luck.
update
I can talk like a normal person now =D I can also eat whatever I like. Praise God man or I'll still be complaining of sore throat now.
I now have 2 DCs in my record. One more, and I'll get a demerit point -.- I was late on Monday, you see. So that's another DC. Was ALMOST late on Wednesday, I stepped into the school hall at 7.29am. That morning I prayed for energy to run to school from the MRT station, I didn't want to have my 2nd DC for the week. And yes God did help me reach on time. Although I ended up sweating like a pig.
I lost my arts faculty shirt in school after PE... pity the person who picked it up.
I took my NAPFA 5-items test on Wednesday. I was having mild stomach cramps, an improvement from Tuesday (severe cramps). Usually I'd aim for a gold, this year I just aimed for a silver though I very much want a gold. And darn it I really can say bye to my gold because I got a D for sit-and-reach. The rest are Cs and a B. 2.4km run better get A.
one last thing..
I DISLIKE GP!!

Productivity at Maximum
I still have problems talking. Please continue to pray =/
Pray also for Mr Jusuf, he's the instructor for PL Primary's Angklung Ensemble, my old CCA. He used to coach the PL Pri and Sec Choir. He is in ICU now for a "mild heart attack", according to Hilary. Being his ex-student, I ought to be concerned.. Questions running through my head are
1. How is he now??? Updates on his condition?
2. His family?
3. His students? How did PL Pri do for SYF? Did he even conduct them this year?
Assuming today is still Sunday...
I asked Xi Ying out to study at macs. Which turned out to be a fruitful 6 hours because
1. There were unusually few people there
2. It was rather quiet
3. THEY DIDN'T TURN ON THE VOLUME FOR THE TV; NEITHER DID THEY TURN ON THE RADIO OR ADVERT HAHAHAHAHAHHAHA FIRST TIME LEH.
4. I finally did my long overdue chinese work
5. I started on econs assignments which are due on Wed and Fri
XY we make excellent study partners!! =P Not saying that Joey isn't la, but I'm just high from the satisfaction of today's impromptu study session.
It's time I reply tags again so, yeah..

Fever - updates
What a horrible night.
I took my temperature in the morning and it read 38.8 degrees C on the thermometer. I felt so weak, I could collapse and faint just by walking up and down the stairs in the house. There was no way I could go to school. So I just slept. This time, more peacefully.
I THINK the fever's gone now.
My throat is so painful, I can't even talk.

MC 2nd day
I didn't dare to wear my jacket during bio lecture today cos' this lecturer has a tendency to make people with jackets answer her questions. zzzz.
Friends thought I'm crazy when I said I went for CO today.
Fever has more or less subsided, 37.2 deg (PTL!).. But the damn sore throat still prevails. I think there's an ulcer there. It hurts real bad =(
I'm still receiving emails from the worship team even though Christel has already informed the entire team that I've stepped down. Well at least I still feel like I belong there. And I know what's going on in the ministry.
Tonight I gotta do 2 chinese compos, and study for econs test. Bleh.. what a nice route to recovery eh.

xiying: I guess the result of not getting enough sleep = falling sick!! So you see, sleep = good for health! YOU get well soon too okay!! =)
Sara: omg your tags are so long, like writing essay like that haha. the pimple thingy is normal la, look at me and you'll be thankful your case isn't so severe. I'm not even checking my email can.. only once in a blue or turquoise moon. and you wont want my body because 1) I'm underweight. 2) my menses very irregular. 3) I'm physically and emotionally quite weak. Yup. JUST BE YOURSELF MAN!
LT: YESSSS JC life is like damn tough especially in ACJC. Woah. CCA really tires you out sometimes. Poly better... maybe I should have gone to poly!
Daniel: Wah fine la now I feel so insulted... you only like to quarrel with me is it. I'm not your partner-in-crime HOR.
hweeyee: hey thanks!! but i seriously dunno when we can meet again! now i've learnt my lesson... when you think you're sick, just go home!
Shepherd: AMEN! I'm feeling better! I think..

IMM
Excuse PE for 1 week
BUT missed lessons today =( Health is a blessing, really. Treasure it. I've been sleeping for practically the whole day and I still feel so dazed now... so weightless when I walk. haha
to the following people
Hwee Yee: thanks for being my insulator.. I know I kept grabbing your arm, lol. Thanks also for waiting at the station for so long as I alighted at the wrong bus stop -.-
Daniel: thanks for constantly asking if I was ok, and also offering me your jacket. That meant a lot..
Derek: Sorry, you had to put up with the awkwardly silent intervals in the train all the way back to the NEL. I really felt ill.
and if any of them fall sick, it'll be my fault!! oh dear...

Happy Birthday
Pri school friend right up till sec 4! And counting... omg man I suck as a friend, it just hit me like a rock that your bd has passed >.< I know which date it is, but somehow it slipped off my mind! Being busy isn't an excuse grrrrr.
I wanna meet up with the good ol' clique but can't seem to do so... I can't even squeeze out a free day! Even if I can, it does not mean that the others can make it.

zombified owl
Chinese teacher showed us our marks today...
I GOT A BIG FAT D LOL THANK GOD I DIDN'T GET U, I WAS SO CLOSE TO GETTING AN E OR S BUT MY COMPO PULLED ME UP THAT ONE I GOT 38/60 HAHA =P
Did I mention that I passed my grade 8 piano by 2 marks? LOL this sounds like a joke but I'm not sure whether to laugh or cry you know...
...
...
...
BUT I think I'll laugh. Look at the bright side, my teacher said people usually fail at the higher grades!! The examiner could have failed me and given me 99 marks but no she let me pass despite my largely inaccurate answers for the aural tests and pathetic attempt to sight read, not to mention the major screw-ups in the pieces. I could have failed. Thank You Jesus I passed xD
Tsk it's sad that our PE relief teacher will not be teaching us anymore! Mr Ng (PE HOD) our original PE teacher will be coming back from his reservist i think... sad. The relief teacher was really cute!
I just read Jacelyn's email, it links with the REW chapel on Monday. Is God trying to say something to me now? Seriously, I should stop being so busy and set aside time for Him... I now quote part of her email.
Communication is not one-way. It's two-way. How true. I thought, "time to let God speak, i've been talking so much." And the devotion of the day really spoke to me. It told me, you don't know why God wants you to head there, it's fine. you just have to know who God is, the One who is leading you.. Cause' when we know Him, we have no fear. When we know He's the One guiding you all the way, we can be rest assured. It's just like you know your own dad, that he won't bring you to harm.Up till now, I still don't know whether joining CO was the right thing to do.
So.. it's time for me to tear my itinerary into pieces. To throw away my own plans. God seeks to prosper me. His definition of prosper may not be the world's myopic definition of prosper, but life with God is definitely better than without Him. (:
So anw, just want to encourage you guys to find God in His word, for "the Word was God." Many times we cant hear Him speak, it's probably because we've not seeked Him but we just kept talking non-stop, like I did at first. How do you get the response when you dont seek for response, yup? May He give you such desire to hear Him and seek to do His will. Lets ask God to teach us to love Him more, then we'd have the willingness to let Him guide. (:
I do know, however, that if I didn't join, I wouldn't be in xuanyue ---> Sheena would not have joined CO (I managed to make her join cos' she showed some interest. hehe), Janet would have been the only J1 girl in xuanyue, she said she would have quit CO because of that, and lets see... There'll only be 4 J1s in that section. All are guys. 4 is like so not enough to take over when the current J2s step down. <--- Now is this still part of God's plan?

Stressed to the max
THREE tests tomorrow
1) H2 Bio - Cells and biological molecules (carbohydrates, lipids and proteins)
2) Chinese - 50 条成语, 课文: 蜜蜂的赞美;孩子,我为什么要打你;最后的牛车水
3) GP - Education package
Preliminary ideas (PI) draft 2 due tomorrow for PW
*pats my own back* good luck Joyce
During bio lecture today, someone's handphone rang and the whole lecture group went silent, followed by "ohhhhhhhhh". You know, that kind of tone, like you're in deep shit. Some guy sitting at the back suddenly said "GG" out loud during the awkward silence. Then everyone burst out in laughter and the owner of that phone, according to the lecturer, blushed. Haha, but funny things like these only happen once in a long time.

REW 2008
How sweet the sound
That saved a wretch like me
I once was lost, but now I'm found
Was blind, but now I see
'Twas grace that taught my heart to fear
And grace my fears relieved
How precious did that grace appear
The hour I first believed
My chains are gone
I've been set free
My God, my Savior has ransomed me
And like a flood His mercy reigns
Unending love, Amazing grace
The Lord has promised good to me
His word my hope secures
He will my shield and portion be
As long as life endures
The earth shall soon dissolve like snow
The sun forbear to shine
But God, Who called me here below
Will be forever mine
Will be forever mine
You are forever mine
--
This is beautiful..it has been modified by Chris Tomlin? A modern version of Amazing Grace which speaks of, well, God's Amazing Grace!
Thanks preez, xiying, WH, hweeyee, melody, I'm FINE!! Love you girls =D I won't be downcast for too long lol
My absence from MSN, Facebook, Friendster, blogs can be explained by the hectic lifestyle of a JC student. It's double that when you're an ACSian. *sweat* Tutorials are one thing, projects are another, clumps of scheduled tests are the worst. There's H2 Bio, H1 GP and Chinese tests this Thursday. My 2nd PI draft is due this Thursday. I have math tuition this Thursday. I also happen to have CCA the day before which gives me less time to prepare.
By the time I reach home, I feel so void of all energy, like all the ATP has been used up in respiration. The only thing I'd wanna do is plop onto the sofa and take a good nap. Ok, that's what I've been doing. But I'm determined to NOT do that. I wanna hurry up and gobble up my dinner, then bathe and STUDYYY!!! And play erhu. Trust me, time is a scarce resource, it is never enough. I don't have time to come online at all. Amazing, how I used to be able to spend HOURS on the computer and now I hardly use it. Even if I do, it's only for a few minutes. Just thought I should update now.
Let's see...
I was sent for detention class (DC) today. Long story, I really don't want to repeat it. Just ask my classmates.
So basically for DC we report at the library at 4.30pm and sit there till 6pm to do self-study, no sleeping/eating/using hp or mp3/going toilet ... ... But not today. This sir came up to say he needed manpower for the sports heats so the whole lot of us went to the bleachers (track area) to serve our DC. Interesting right. And it so happened that the DC crowd for the day was unusually large. The whole thing ended an hour later, at 7pm cos' it poured halfway and it was impossible to continue with the events. I was time-keeper for lane 7 -.-
The best thing about this DC is that WE CLOCK IN CIP HOURS HAHAHAHA SERVE DC ALSO CAN GET CIP HOURS. Best.
I don't want to get too many DCs though. 3 DCs = 1 demerit point. Poor Irvin got 2 demerit points for helping his friend tap the attendance card...
Yea I know my post is so jumbled up but who cares. I'll now move on to the REW in AC.
Unlike PL, REW here is like only ONE day. Whatever happened to Religious Emphasis Week? Back in PL it's spread over 3 or 4 days. Anyway...
Everything just fit so perfectly. Everything from the worship to Dr Philip Huan's message titled What Does the Future Hold for Me?
I always say that life is full of uncertainties, you'll never know what's ahead. The future? Uncertain. And each time I just don't know how to move on and progress. I worry about stuff unnecessarily even though I know my future's in His hands. Many times I feel so lost and alone, without knowing how to proceed. Things also always happen at the wrong time, I seem to get myself into trouble all the time.
Worry... why? Why put myself through all that anxiety? (unable to complete revision or homework is another thing altogether, I'd be abnormal if I don't worry about late submission or tests)
So do not worry, saying, 'What shall we eat?' or 'What shall we drink?' or 'What shall we wear?'For the pagans run after all these things, and your heavenly Father knows that you need them. But seek first his kingdom and his righteousness, and all these things will be given to you as well. Matthew 6:31-33To put it simply, God will provide us with what we need. His plan and resources will come when it's time. We just have to ask and acknowledge it. But ask is not enough, we have to listen as well. Listen to God's voice for directions.
Before they call I will answer;
while they are still speaking I will hear. Isaiah 54:24
Nothing can separate us from the love of God.. Always remember how God sees us. Our gifts are already His, He gave them to us in the first place.
So they went away by themselves in a boat to a solitary place. But many who saw them leaving recognized them and ran on foot from all the towns and got there ahead of them. When Jesus landed and saw a large crowd, he had compassion on them, because they were like sheep without a shepherd. So he began teaching them many things. Mark 6:32-34
Sounds familiar... sheep without a shepherd. We're not meant to live life without guidance. God never intended for us to handle stress all alone. All we have to do is say "yes" to Him, adn wait for doors of opportunities to open though only one out of that many doors will be the right one. It's about choosing God's plan rather than our own or our parents'.
(there's supposed to be more but i fell asleep)

Teachers
It sucks when your teacher shows favouritism. It just sucks.
(Sigh... half the time he's telling the other half of the class to shut up and suddenly he diverts his arrows to us saying we keep talking during his classes when 90% of the time we're the silent ones. AND, he makes no attempt to remember our names. He only knows the names of the other half of the class. But duh I'm not just upset about these, there are more..)
I went for CO prac with red eyes... that's what I get when tears sting my eyes AND I have my contact lenses on. I was distracted for the first half of the practice as I couldn't get over what that teacher said to Claire and I. I could neither follow the score nor play properly. But after the break I decided to get a grip and stop letting that scene play on repeat mode in my head. It worked, I could at least give my best and focus. I can be so immersed in music that everything else just evaporates. It does, however, take awhile for me to settle down after an unhappy incident/issue/event before I can tune in.
I'm so grateful for the seniors and friends who expressed their concern this afternoon... I would otherwise have fallen into depression mode.
I now dread going to school. I fear the mountain of work. And some teachers. Honestly speaking, I only look forward to CCA and physical geog lectures and tutorials.
I miss the teachers from PL and SRJC =( Man... I should really stop harping on it and get back to mugging.

My life is kind of crazy now, I have TONNES of homework due this Tuesday. Like really tonnes. Another day has just passed, and I haven't done anything productive. Erm unless you count CCA where I joined in the combined and sectionals from 8.30am to 4pm and actually played along with them. Like WOW finally. Nigel even said my YLL song was not bad for someone who just started learning =D Praise God man. Speaking of Nigel, so many strands of hair came off from his bow today, it was enough to make a small brush. Haha to put it in a nicer way, he's enthusiasm for his music can be seen in the hair he plucked out from the bow.

uh oh... the pro feels betrayed cos' i put this up. =(

On top of that homework, I kind of made a commitment to practice on the erhu E-V-E-R-Y-D-A-Y for AT LEAST 1 hour since the concert's just next month and well, I wanna play. So it'll look good on my CCA record. 4 pieces down, 5 more to go. One of them being a super challenging piece. It's so messy and complicated that I can't even read the handwriting on the score, have to clarify with the others.
Oh yes. Today during break for sectionals, 3 jokers were playing the funeral song at the corridor. On the suona and dizi. My gosh I was in the toilet when I heard that, after that Janet and I laughed until we got stomachache -___- Cos' they played it in a very vibrant tone and it was like, WTH?!
I wanna go back to visit my handbell juniors soon. First I must make sure Mr Fong is there. Now I know why people like Wan Yi and Wen Xin like to go back to PL when Mr Fong is around. I never really understood that when I was still in secondary school.
Wah I sound as if I left the school years ago.

19th Fun-O-Rama
We were located at the canteen, which is apparently "hard to find" cos' people like Jess took a century to find the canteen.
Milo for the milo dinosaur
Marcus with our fondue
Muffins sponsored by Jones the Grocer
Mandeep loves ROTI JOHN but he's supposed to look happy. Dunno why he looked like this.
I'm know, I deserve to be beheaded because I abandoned the stall during my shift from 12-2pm, I only worked a little and was running off most of the time to say hi to friends who came. But EHHH after that I worked all the way until the whole thing ended which was past 6.There was a period where we were standing around with nothing to do, and I tried to attract customers by stopping those who were walking pass our stall. When it rained, that's when the REAL business started. People wanted to be IN the shelter and away from the rain. So the orders (especially for roti john) kept pouring in, and I was so tempted to chase the customers away.. but no, I just hinted to them by saying that they had to wait for "quite awhile". Still, they were willing to wait. Typical Singaporeans. They see a long queue, they join the queue -.-
My handphone was vibrating the whole late morning / early afternoon where calls and SMSes kept coming in, most of them were from friends asking for directions.
Oh wells. I would say that Fun-O-Rama was better than PL's Agape Fair last year where I practically worked for the WHOLE day at the stall, cutting up brownies and heating them up.
I think I should type more stuff hahahahh.
